MATS University, Raipur
MATS University (Mahaveer Academy of Technology and Science University) is a private university which imparting the education in various fields of academic and professional studies. It was established in the year 2006 under the Chhattisgarh University Act 29/2006. The university has been approved by the UGC and recognized & accredited by the AICTE, BCI, NCTE and NAAC. It is a minority university and a member of Association of India Universities.
Campus
MATS University is comprising in 12 schools and one research department which are imparting the education in engineering, science, education, technology, business & management, fashion & humanities, law, etc. The university has a separate building for each school including MATS School of Engineering and Technology. The campus is situated in the rural area of Raipur district of Chhattisgarh state. The campus is located at the Arang – Khartora Highway near to the Gullu Village and besides the Mahanadi River in Raipur district.

The major facilities of the campus are classrooms equipped with LCD and OHP, video conferencing facility, computer lab with 24 hour internet facility, air-conditioned auditorium with audio-visual aids, computerized library, laboratories for all relevant departments, state-of-the-art genetics lab, air-conditioned modern gymnasium, yoga hall, sports centre with indoor games facilities, separate hostel facility for boys and girls and well-connected transportation facility.

Although the MATS University offers a chain of education in various fields of study, the school of engineering and technology offers UG programmes and PG programmes.
