Mizoram University, Mizoram
Mizoram University is a Central University under the University Grants Commission, Government of India. The university was established in the year 2001. Mizoram University aims to improve the social and economic conditions and welfare of the people of the state. The University also aims at intellectual, academic and cultural development of the people of this state.
Campus
The university is located in Tanhril, Aizawl, Mizoram. The university campus is spread in an area of 978.1988 acres with scenic hills and lush greenery. The university has seven academic departments.
Facilities
The university provides all necessary facilities to their students such as separate hostel facility for boys and girls, central library, health care, computer center, central instrumentation lab, engineering workshop,e- journals, guest house, canteen, sports cell, xerox facility, well ventilated and spacious class rooms, wi-fi facility etc.

The university offers many courses to their students in the field of life sciences, education and humanties, physical sciences, engineering and technology, social sciences, economic management and information sciences, fine arts, and architecture and fashion technology.
