Osmania University – College of Engineering (OUCE) was established in the year 1929 as a private and self-financing institution in University campus after the 11 year of the foundation of Osmania University. The University College of Engineering has been become an autonomous institution in the year 1994 approved by the UGC and accredited by the NAAC.
The University College of Engineering is situated in a huge campus over 1300 acres of land with 7 more university colleges. The campus is situated in the heart of the Hyderabad City and well-connected by the road, rail and air network.
The Osmania University – College of Engineering is conducting the full-time 6 B.Tech programmes, 18 M.Tech programmes and MCA course in engineering and technology. Being a part of the University, the College of Engineering caters all academic and campus facilities with amenities for the students and staff. The college provides the gaming facility, medical centre, internet, lecture hall, bank, central library, laboratories & workshops and a central computer centre.
The campus organizes the NCC & NSS activities, annual cultural activities, woman day and various co-curricular activities and sports activities. The campus has an English Language Training Centre, student welfare centre and SC/ST welfare centre.
