Institute of Engineering & Technology – Bundelkhand University, Jhansi
Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET) was established in the year 1975 by the Bundelkhand University, Jhansi (A public University). The college is affiliated to the Bundelkhand University and approved by the AICTE and MHRD, New Delhi. The IET, BU is also approved by the UP Board of Technical Education and the State Government of UP. The institute of Agricultural Sciences of Bundelkhand University offers UG and PG agriculture courses.
Campus
The Institute of Engineering & Technology is situated on the University campus with 25 institutions of higher learning. The campus is located on the Jhansi – Kanpur Road (National Highway-25) in Jhansi, the district of UP. The whole campus is built over an area of 186 acres of land. The campus is well-connected to the Jhansi City by ample service of transport.

Beside the 104 study offered by the BU, The IET is offering the B.Tech course in seven disciplines in the field of engineering and technology. Institute of Agricultural Sciences of BU runs 4-years B.Sc in Agriculture and 2-years M.Sc in Agriculture.

The annual intake capacity in all engineering & technology programmes is 420 students and the total faculty members are 39 in all engineering departments.
Facilities
There are four girls, three boys and one working women hostel inside the campus. The campus has a central library with 1.25 laces of volumes equipped with RFID system. There are shopping centre, medical centre, bank, post office, indoor stadium, auditorium, seminar hall, wi-fi connectivity, laboratories and transport facility inside the campus.
Activities
The campus is organizing the seminars, workshops and conferences on the various topics. The campus conducts various students’ activities, co-curricular and extracurricular activities those groom the students. The campus also conducts the module of development programme for the students and faculty as well.
Placement
The campus has a Cell for Training & Placement headed by a team of four professionals. The Cell provides the opportunity of job and trainings to the students. The overall placement record of the campus is good.
