Rajeev Gandhi Ayurveda College, Hospital & Pharmacy, Bhopal was founded on 1st July 2001. The college is run by Chouhan Education Society. It is affiliated to the Barkatullah University, Bhopal (M.P.) and recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi.

Campus

The college campus is situated at Trilanga Colony, Shahpura, Bhopal. Bhopal is the capital city of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The city is well-linked with the road, railway and airport transportation. The Hospital is attached to the college.

Facilities

The college offers various facilities such as seminar hall, medical, research lab, computer lab, internet and workshops. The college has separate accommodation for both; girls and boys with all modern facilities for boarding and other recreational activities. The laboratories are well-equipped with all the latest equipments. The library of the college has a wide gathering of national and international journals, books, newspapers, periodicals, magazines, projects, etc. There is a well-established classroom with the audio-visual aids facilities.

Programmes

Rajeev Gandhi Ayurveda College, Hospital & Pharmacy, Bhopal offer Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). The duration of the BAMS is 5 ½ years, including 1 year compulsory internship. The college offers 1 year compulsory internship training in the associated hospital. To get admission in this course, candidates have to qualify the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The BAMS course has been divided in the following semesters.
