JEE Main 2027 Registration Updates: National Testing Agency has released notice for submission of fresh JEE Main 2027 application form on 30th October 2026. This clarification is released after many candidates have reported mistakes while applying for JEE Main 2027 Session 1.

Even though NTA has repeatedly issued instructions and reminders on how to fill out the JEE application correctly, students have still made errors during the form filling.
If you are among the candidates who have already generated JEE Mains 2027 application number and paid examination fee, you need not to worry about rejection of form. Nevertheless, a fresh application can be submitted. This is for students applying to various conditions discussed in the article.
JEE Main 2027 Registration: Fresh Application OPEN
The National Testing Agency has provided facility to submit fresh JEE application form in case they have made errors while filling application. Last date to submit application form is 22nd November 2026. With late fee of ₹500, form can be submitted between 23rd and 26th November 2026.
Candidates can also make changes in few details during JEE form correction facility provided between November 27 and 29. However, it is a one-time opportunity. Not all the fields are allowed to be changed.

What Makes JEE Main 2027 Application Valid?
Students can submit fresh application forms, according to the underlying conditions discussed by NTA:
Valid Application:
The application will be considered valid only in case of last form submitted for which examination fee has been successfully paid and confirmation page is generated. If students submit a fresh application but does not complete fee payment and generate confirmation page, earlier form for which steps were completed with remain valid.
Fresh Application:
For each fresh application form, a new application number will be generated. Complete details including photograph, signature and documents should be entered and uploaded again.
Application Deadline:
Students must complete fresh applications including its fee payment on or before the last date, November 22, 2026 (11.50pm). With late fee, forms must be submitted from 23rd November to 26th November 2026 (11.50pm).
Non-refundable fee:
Those who have submitted examination fee against an earlier form must know that the fee will neither be adjusted or refunded against fresh application. Those who only need to amend certain details must wait till correction window to be available on 27-29 November and not submit fresh form.
One Attempt Per Session:
Multiple application submission does not mean a candidate is allowed to appear more than once for same session. Candidates who attempts or appears in exam using more than one application number will be treated as Unfair Means (UFM). Strict actions will be taken for such students as mentioned in information bulletin. Those who hold more than one application number but only appears with one valid application number will not be treated as UFM.
According to the NTA JEE Main Exam Schedule, the session 1 examination is scheduled on 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th & 28th January 2027 via computer-based test. hii in jee mains form i fill the whole adress in the place of house no. so in admit card there’s a twice time adress written now what to do is there create any problem during counselling

If you’ve entered an incomplete address, wait for the correction window. If NTA allows update your address there.
hello, in my adhaar card my surname comes first but in my 10th admit card my last name comes first. will it be of any issue?
Hello, this won’t create any issue. As per NTA’s JEE Main 2026 FAQ, name mismatches between Aadhaar and Class 10 marksheet won’t affect your candidature.
I have already submitted application successfully with aadhar id, but I got prompt that name is mismatch. Now aadhar name is updated according to 10 class. Can I re enter aadhar number during edit window. Will it allow me to do so.
Aadhaar details cannot be modified at this stage. Please wait for the NTA one-time correction facility: if Aadhaar edits are permitted then you may update the number. For immediate assistance, reach out to the NTA helpdesk.
What should be filled in candidates name if it differs from Aadhar
Ex 10 th certificate has first name and last name
Adhaar has first name middle name last name. I had contacted to NTA they told me to update aadhar or you can make affidavit showing that 10th marksheet and andhar name is belongs to single and same person. So is it really works Or at the time of exam will any issue create.?
Fill the form using your Class 10 marksheet name. Small differences in Aadhaar (like an added middle name) won’t lead to any issues, as per the latest NTA clarification.

No, the form won’t allow self-correction for Aadhaar. Reach out to NTA support they’ll guide you.
Hi, My son’s biometric is not yet updated in aadhar though we have applied long back. We have been advised to enter the 14 digit aadhar acknowledgement & proceed. But we don’t find this option in the Form. Can u guide please?
The JEE Main form doesn’t accept Aadhaar update acknowledgement number. Since the biometric update is pending, please contact NTA support so they can guide you on the correct way to proceed.
Does the adress have to be exact same as on adhaar mine has been submitted and it’s not that accurate but similar
The address doesn’t need to match exactly. JEE uses Aadhaar only to confirm your identity. As long as your name and date of birth match, a slightly different address won’t cause any issue.

You are advised to correct the document that has extra or missing parts of your name. After both documents match, fill the same name in the JEE form.
Hi sir, my identity proof verified ok but the below msg showed as name mismatch with 10 th certificate. ( There was no initial mentioned after name in aadhar )
Now I updated my adhaar but not able to verify with jee application again.

Hello, this happens due to a name mismatch between Aadhaar and your Class 10 certificate. Since you’ve updated Aadhaar, wait 24–48 hours and try again. Don’t apply again. If it still doesn’t verify, fix it during the correction window or contact NTA helpdesk.
