CENTAC 2024 Counselling, Allotment, Merit – Get Details Here
CENTAC 2024 Counselling will be commenced from fourth week of August 2024. Centralized Admission Committee, Pondicherry organizes CENTAC to provide admission in various engineering and medical programmes. There will be no entrance exam and admission given on the basis of marks secured in 12th and Scores of JEE Main. Selected candidates will get admission in various engineering and pharmacy affiliated colleges/institutions. Through this article we have provided all the details related to CENTAC Counselling 2024.
CENTAC 2024 Counselling
CENTAC 2024 Counselling will be organised by the board after the release of the merit list. As per the rank obtained in the merit list, candidates will be invited for the counselling process. The counselling will be started from fourth week of August 2024.
Candidates will also be able to check the CENTAC 2024 cut off marks to participate in the counselling. Draft merit list for PG courses will be released in August 2024.
To participate in the counselling process, candidates will have to pay the counselling fee and make choice of course and college for admission. Also, candidates will have to download allotment letter and report to the allotted center as per the time and date mentioned in it.

CENTAC 2024 Counselling Procedure
The complete procedure of CENTAC 2024 Counselling is described below:
Selection of Candidates
Candidates will first select for the counselling process. Only those candidates whose name appear in the merit list can participate in the counselling process. On the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the 12th level exams selection can be done.
Paying Counselling fee
To participate in the counselling process, candidates will have to pay the counselling fee. The counselling fee of Rs. 750 (Rs. 350 for ST/SC) will be paid by the candidates in the form of cash or Demand draft drawn in favor of – The Convener, CENTAC, payable at Puducherry.
Choice Filling
After paying the counselling fee successfully, candidates will have to make choice of preferred college/institution and course. After choosing the institution and course candidates have to lock the choices.
Downloading of Counselling letter
Candidates will have to download their counselling call letter from the website. The counselling letter is mention the details of date, time and venue allotted to the candidates for further admission process. Candidates have to take the counseling letter with them and report at the respective institution.
Seat Allotment
Candidates will be allotted seats as per the choice filled and merit order. In case a candidate fails to report at the venue within the time date allotted, he/she can not be allotted seat for admission. Also candidates have to carry their original as well as photocopies of their required documents for the certificate verification process.

- 10th and 12th level Marksheet and Pass certificate
- Residence Certificate
- Counselling Call letter
- Photocopy of CENTAC 2024 Application form
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Photo id proof
- Scorecard/Rank card
CENTAC 2024 Counselling will be conducted after the selection of candidates in the merit list. Candidates in the counselling process will be able to choose their preferred course and college. Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their filled choices and merit order.
