Note: Candidates are now permitted to select up to four examination city choices within the state of their permanent or present residence. Those candidates who have already submitted their application form will be given an opportunity to exercise or update their additional exam city choices during the correction window from 18th to 20th January 2026.

CUET PG 2026 Application Form

- National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CUET PG 2026 application form from 14th December 2025.
- There is online facility available to complete the registration procedure as there is no offline method provided.
- Initially, candidates have to register with personal and educational details in application form.
- Candidates have to upload the requisite documents such as passport size photograph & signature in specific format to complete the process.
- In case of any mistakes in form, candidates will be able to edit the form during correction window from 18th to 20th January 2026.
- After filling all the mandatory details, aspirants are advised to go through the complete form once again and submit it.
- Do not forget to take a hardcopy of application form for further usage in admission process.
Application Fee:
- Application fee can be submitted only online through NET Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, Wallet and UPI Services.

- Step-2: On the webpage, check “New Candidates Register Here” option.
- Step-3: Start with the registration procedure by entering the basic information.
- Step-4: System will generate the application number, save it for later usage.
- Step-5: Now login using application number and password.
- Step-6: Fill the complete form & upload the required documents.
- Step-7: Recheck the details and submit the form to proceed towards next step.

CUET PG 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are advised to fulfil the complete eligibility criteria first before applying for CUET PG 2026:
- Qualification: Candidates must be graduated from any recognised board or university to apply.
- Age Limit: There is no age restrictions to apply for CUET PG 2026 exam.
- Appearing: Those appearing candidates in final year of graduation are also be eligible to apply for exam.
Note: Candidates are required to fulfil the age criteria of the university to which they want to get admission.
CUET PG 2026 Exam Pattern

- Exam Mode: CUET PG 2026 Exam will be held via Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
- Duration: Total 90 minutes will be given to solve the CUET PG 2026 exam.
- Shifts: Two to three shifts will be there in exam.
- Language: Exam will be held in Bilingual (Hindi & English) Language except for languages M.Tech/ Higher Sciences and Acharya Papers (except Hindu Studies, Baudha Dharshan, and Indian Knowledge System) in the question paper.
- No. of Questions: Total 75 questions will be asked in each paper. It will be compulsory to attempt all questions.
- Marking Scheme: For each correct answer in exam, +4 marks will be given.
- Negative Marking: There will be a negative marking of -1 mark for each incorrect answer.

CUET PG 2026 Admit Card
National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the CUET PG 2026 admit card in first week of March 2026. Test takers will be able to visit the website and download the hall ticket through online mode. Registered candidates will be able to access the admit card with the help of username and password. The exam is conducted in multiple days for registered candidates.
Aspirants will have to keep the hardcopy of admit card safe till admission. As, it will be the mandatory documents to appear for the exam. It will consist with the important information related to exam such as personal details, exam date, venue, exam timings, reporting time, photograph, signature, etc.
CUET PG 2026 Answer Key
CUET PG 2026 Answer key will be released in the second week of April 2026. Candidates who will attempt the exam will be able check answer key. Initially, NTA will announce the provisional answer key via online mode. Candidates who will not satisfied with the answer key will be able to challenge the CUET PG 2026 provisional answer key within a stipulated time.
To raise objection against the answer key, candidates will have to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs. 200 per question challenged as processing charges. The experts will examine all the raised challenges received and then a final answer key will be announced.
CUET PG 2026 Cut Off
CUET PG 2026 Cut off will be the minimum marks candidates will be required to secure to get admission into various universities. Cut off is released through online mode.
There will be a various factor on which cut off will depend such as number of applicants, exam difficulty, and availability of seats. The separate cut off will released by each participating university on their respective website.
CUET PG 2026 Result
Result of CUET PG 2026 will be released in May 2026. Candidates will be able to download their result via online mode, no other method will be available. Result will be complied by the NTA based on the final answer key.
CUET PG 2026 result will be released in the form of scorecard. It will contain the details such as candidate’s name, roll number, qualifying marks, signature, etc. It will be mandatory to keep the result safe for further usage in admission.

CUET PG 2026 Counselling
Each participating university will organize their own counselling procedure. NTA will not organize any counselling for CUET PG 2026. Those candidates who will clear the exam and will be in rank list can register for counselling procedure via online mode. Participating universities will release their own ranking list for CUET PG 2026 counselling.
There will be various factors such as admission criteria, Merit list rank, medical fitness & document verification based on which final admission will be given. Based on the UG Knowledge, the general paper has redesigned to cater to skills based & certain professions so that universities can use it for programmes in those areas from 2026.
All the admission will be made & compliance with the UGC guidelines in this regard based on CUET scores. However, a university may decide the weightage of CUET PG score for admission to specialised courses.
