Previously, IIFT was conducting its own entrance exam, which now has been discontinued from 2024. Applicants seeking admission to these courses will be required to take CAT or GMAT national exam and participate in the WAT, Extempore, GD and PI rounds.

Candidates should note the following details before filling out the IIFT application form 2026:

• IIFT 2025 application form will be available through online mode only.
• The registration form for IIFT 2026 will be accessible in third week of October 2025.
• Applicants must ensure to meet all the eligibility criteria before applying.
• The application form will require details such as  personal, qualifications & contact details.
• Fill the form carefully, as changes will not be allowed after submission.
• Applicants will need to upload their recent photograph and signature in specified format.
• The deadline for submitting the application form will be till first week of December 2025.
• Candidates should print and save a copy of the registration form for future reference.

Application Fee: 

• IIFT 2026 application fee will be payable through online mode.

IIFT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Students must meet the given IIFT Eligibility Criteria 2026 for International Business before proceeding for the application process:

MBA (International Business):

• Nationality: Individuals holding Indian citizenship, foreign nationality, or NRI status will be considered eligible.
• Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration from a recognised institute/college will be required.
• Age Limit: There will be no age limit to apply for IIFT 2026.
• Marks: A minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in the qualifying exam will be necessary.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing for their final year exams will also be eligible to apply. However, they must submit proof of qualification by October 2026.
• Mode of Admission: CAT Scores are required.

MBA (Business Analytics):

• Qualifications: Student must hold Bachelor’s Degree / B.Tech/ B.E degree from a recognised institute/college.
• Subjects: At Graduation level, students must have Mathematics/ Statistics as a subject or Mathematics as a subject in 10+2 level.
• Age Limit: There will be no age limit to apply for IIFT 2026.
• Marks: A minimum of 50% marks (5.0 CGPA out of 10) in the qualifying exam will be necessary.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing for their final year exams will also be eligible to apply. However, they must submit proof of qualification by October 2026.
• Mode of Admission: CAT Scores are required.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

IIFT 2026 Merit List 

IIFT 2026 Merit List will be released in second week of February 2026 via online mode. Merit list will contain details like candidate’s name, rank and scores obtained by the shortlisted candidates. The list of shortlisted candidates will be available in PDF format on the portal.

Based on their CAT/GMAT scores, the IIFT merit list 2026 will be prepared, and selected candidates will be called for further admission rounds. Candidates are suggested to download the merit list and keep it safe for future reference. 

IIFT 2026 Cut Off

IIFT cut off 2026  will be displayed by the institutes via online mode on the website. Cut off will be the minimum scores which will be compulsory for candidates to secure equal to or more than the specified marks to be eligible for admission.

The cut off will be determined separately for different categories based on various factors such as number of candidates qualifying the exam, number of aspirants appearing for exam, number of seats available, difficulty level of exam etc. 

IIFT 2026 Admission

IIFT Admission Process 2026 for the full-time MBA (IB) and MBA (BA) programs will be organised in two stages. In Stage 1, shortlisting of qualifying candidates will be done based on their weightage in CAT 2025 exam, including sectional cut-offs and gender diversity.  

In Stage 2, shortlisted candidates will undergo the GD and PI process. The GD & PI rounds will be organised in first week of March 2026. The final IIFT score considers the CAT 2025 score, GD and PI performance, and additional criteria such as academic diversity, gender diversity, and work experience.
