UPSC 2026 Exam Date Calendar: The Union Public Service Commission today released its annual calendar for the 2026 session. It is made available via online mode.
Candidates preparing for any of the examinations conducted by UPSC can now check the exam dates for various competitive exams, including the National Defence Academy (NDA) exams.
UPSC NDA 2026 dates for both session 1 and session 2 are officially announced on 15th May 2025. The UPSC Annual calendar is released at upsc.gov.in.
To be in the armed forces via NDA, you will be required to complete the selection process. Candidates are first required to clear the written exam, followed by clearing the 05-day SSB Interview, medical examination, and final merit list based on written + SSB performance.
When to Apply for NDA Exam 2026?
According to the UPSC annual calendar 2026, the NDA 1 2026 notification and application form will be released on 10th December 2025. Candidates can apply for NDA 2026 till 30th December 2025. The National Defence Academy (NDA I) examination will be held on 12th April 2026.
For NDA 2 2026, the notification along with the registration form will be available from 20th May 2026. The last day to apply for NDA 2 2025 is 09th June 2026. The National Defence Academy (NDA II) examination will be held on 13th September 2026.

For both, the examination is being held on Sunday. The mode of the NDA exam will be offline, pen-and-paper-based mode. The complete NDA 1 and NDA 2 2026 schedule will be released through the respective notification.
