Has NEET PG 2025 Counselling Started?
The Medical Counselling Committee is responsible for conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) counselling. The mode of counselling is being held online.
MCC has released the NEET PG counselling information bulletin and registration form, complete PG medical schedule, and other details. Yes, the round 1 NEET PG counselling begins on 17th October 2025. There will be three rounds of seat allotment and one online stray vacancy round for the NEET PG counselling.
The NEET PG counselling process begins with the verification of the tentative seat matrix by participating institutes. Once the seat details are confirmed, candidates can proceed with registration and payment on the official MCC portal. The next step is choice filling and locking, where candidates select their preferred colleges and courses.
After this, the MCC carries out the processing of seat allotment, followed by the release of the seat allotment result. Candidates who have been allotted seats are now required to report to the institutions.
For this session, as per the NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule, the seat allotment will be released in Round 1 on November 8, Round 2 on November 26, Round 3 on December 17, and the Online Stray Vacancy Round on January 7, 2026.
