• Qualification: To be eligible, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years or a master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized educational institution. 
• Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in the aggregate for general & 45% marks for SC/ST category candidates. 
• Subjects: For MCA course, candidates must have passed their qualifying examination with mathematics as compulsory subject to be eligible. 
• Appearing: Those candidates in their final year of qualifying degree programs will also be eligible for admission.

• Go to the KMAT Karnataka online website (Link is given above). 
• On the homepage, press the “KMAT 2026 Application” button at the top. 
• Press “Register” button on the next page. 
• The initial registration page will open, enter the required information such as name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc. 
• Choose an appropriate course from the drop down menu. 
• Press the check box button & proceed to the next page. 
• After registration, the login credentials will be allocated to the candidates. 
• Now press the “Login” button. 
• Enter the generated User ID & Password to fill the form. 
• Start filing the form with details such as personal, communication, academic qualification, etc. 
• Enter the permanent address carefully. 
• Recheck the details once before proceeding towards the next step. 
• Press the “SAVE & NEXT” button. 
• Now upload the scanned images of photograph & signature in prescribed format & size. 
• Candidates must upload the scanned images under 200 KB. 
• Now proceed to pay the fee by clicking on the “PAYMENT” button. 
• Submit the fee using the available payment option. 
• Press the “Submit” button. 
• A confirmation page will appear on the screen after submitting the form. 
• Do not forget to take a hardcopy of application form for further usage in admission.
