Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is responsible for conducting the UPSC CDS exam. Through UPSC CDS, candidates can be selected for positions in the Indian Army, Indian Air Force & Indian Navy by providing training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA) and Office Training Academy (OTA).

CDS 2027 Application Form 

Candidates must go through the complete CDS 2027 application form details below: 

• CDS I application form 2027 is releasing from 2nd December 2026 & from 12th May 2027 for CDS II. 
• There will be an online facility available to submit the registration form, as there will be no offline method available. 
• Once before applying for the exam, candidates must go through the complete eligibility norms below. 
• Enter the basic details such as name, mobile number, email ID, etc during Universal Registration. 
• After registration, fill the application form with personal, academic qualifications, communication, select the preferences of training institutes & other relevant information. 
• The deadline to submit the CDS exam form 2027 will be till 22nd December 2026 for Paper II & till 1st June 2027 for Paper II. 
• Submit the form & do not forge to take a hardcopy of UPSC CDS 2027 registration form for further usage in admission. 

Application Fee: 

• CDS 2027 fee can be submitted via online mode only. 
• Rs. 200/- will be the UPSC CDS 2027 registration fee. 
• Credit card, debit card, UPI & Net banking will be the online facility to submit the fee. 
• Registration fee for female/ SC/ST candidates will be exempted. 

CDS 2027 Application Correction 

Candidates will be able to make corrections in CDS 2027 application form through online mode only. UPSC may or may not provide an edit facility after submission of application form. Applicants must be careful during the form filling process, as not all the details will be editable during the correction window. 

Candidates will have to use their login credentials to access the edit window. This will be the one time facility for updating or modifying their details in the URN (Universal Registration Number) profile. Candidates are suggested to complete their corrections before the deadline, as there will be no further extension made in it. 

CDS 2027 Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Candidates unmarried who are either a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, or a person of origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka & East African Countries with the intention or permanent settlement of India. 
• Age Limit: Before applying, candidates must ensure to meet the age of requirements as given below: 

• Educational Qualification: To apply, candidates must have obtained the following qualification to be eligible for CDS 2027. 
• For IMA & Officers Training Academy, Chennai: To apply, candidates must have completed graduation from a recognized university or equivalent. 
• For Indian Naval Academy: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized university/ institution. 
• For Air Force Academy: One must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field (with Physics & Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor’s of engineering from a recognized university. 
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in their qualifying exam will also be eligible for CDS exam 2027. 
• Physical Fitness: To apply, candidates must meet the specific physical fitness standards.

How to Fill CDS 2027 Application Form

• Press the “Create an Account” button on the homepage to proceed.

• Verify your email ID through OTP & proceed for further steps. 
• After registration, login using alloted details during registration.
