CDS 2027 Application Form
Candidates can know UPSC CDS registration 2027 details in the section below:
- CDS I application form 2027 will be released from 2nd December 2026 & CDS II will be released from 12th May 2027 on the UPSC website.
- Candidates will be able to submit the CDS exam form 2027 via online mode, no offline method will be available.
- Once prior to filling the exam form, go through the complete eligibility norms below.
- During Universal Registration (UR) filling, enter the basic information such as name, mobile number, email ID, etc.
- Fill the application form with details such as personal, academic qualifications, communication & other relevant information & select the preferences of training institutes.
- After form filling, upload the scanned documents in prescribed format & size.
- The CDS 2027 application form last date will be till 22nd December 2026 for Paper I & till 1st June 2027 for Paper II.
- Submit the form & do not forget to take a hardcopy of UPSC CDS registration form 2027 for further processing.
Application Fee:
- CDS application fee 2027 will be submitted via online mode only.
- Rs. 200/- will be the registration fee to apply for CDS exam 2027.
- Online facilities such as credit card, debit card, UPI & Net banking will be available.

CDS 2027 Application Correction
In the CDS 2027 application form, UPSC may or may not provide any facility to make corrections after submission. Candidates must be careful while filling the details, as not all the details will be editable during the correction period. Candidates will be able to edit their details by visiting the website of UPSC.
This will be the one time facility for updating or modifying their details in the URN (Universal Registration Number) profile. Candidates are suggested to be done with the correction facility before the deadline, as there will be no further extension made in it. After making the necessary correction make sure to re-lock the URN profile.
CDS 2027 Eligibility Criteria

- Nationality: Those unmarried candidates who are either a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, or a person of origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka & East African Countries with the intention of permanent settlement of India.
- Age Limit: Before applying, candidates must ensure to meet the age of requirements as given below:

- For IMA & Officers Training Academy, Chennai: Candidates must have completed graduation from a recognized university or equivalent to apply.
- For Indian Naval Academy: To apply, one must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized university/ institution.
- For Air Force Academy: Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field (with Physics & Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor’s of engineering from a recognized university.
- Appearing: Those appearing candidates for their qualifying examination will also be eligible for CDS admission 2027.
- Physical Fitness: Applying candidates must meet the specific physical fitness standards to apply.
CDS 2027 Exam Pattern

CDS Admit Card 2027
UPSC will release the DCDS 2027 admit card through online mode. Registered candidates will have to login using allotted credentials such as mobile number & OTP, URN & Password & email ID – Password on the website.
Details such as name, roll number, exam center, date, time, venue, reporting time, signature, etc. Candidates must keep the hardcopy of the admit card safe for further usage on exam day. For the day of exam, candidates will be required to keep the admit card along with the valid photo ID.
CDS Answer Key 2027
Answer key for UPSC CDS exam 2027 will be released via online mode. There will be no offline mode available to access the answer key. It will be released in the month of April 2027. UPSC will also provide the facility to raise an objection against the answer key.
Candidates will have to login & submit their objection within the 5 days window. Any presentation through email, post or hand will not be accepted by UPSC. Candidates are suggested to be done with the objection facility before the deadline.
CDS Result 2027
UPSC will announce the CDS 2027 result through online mode. It will be released in the form of a PDF. It will consist with the list of the roll number of candidates who have successfully cleared the CDS exam 2027.
Candidates who score higher than the CDS cut off 2027 marks will be eligible for further SSB Interview round. Candidates will have to visit the website to access the result. After clearing the SSB interview for 5 dates, selected candidates will get admission to prestigious IMA, INA, AFA and officers training Academy (OTA).
CDS Selection Procedure 2027
There will be two stages in CDS selection procedure 2027 which candidates need to clear i.e a written exam & SSB Interview. The SSB Interview will be held for 5 days. The detailed selection procedure will be published by the authority through online mode.
To test the candidates aptitude & reasoning ability, a written exam will be conducted. Moreover, a CDS SSB round will be held to test the candidates psychological aptitude & mental condition. To get selected as commissioned officers in NAvy, Air Force, & Indian Army, candidates will have to clear all the stages of CDS 2027.
CDS SSB Interview 2027
Those qualified candidates in the selection procedure of CDS 2027 will be eligible to participate in further CDS 2027 SSB Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for various posts after clearing the SSB interview. The CDS 2027 selection will be held over a period of 5 days to test the candidate’s intelligence, physical strength, personality & more.
There will be two rounds in the SSB round. In Stage 1, it will have an officer Intelligence rating (OIR) test & picture perception description test (PP & DT). there will be an interview, Group testing officer Tasks, Psychology test and the conference in stage 2.
