IIAD alumnus Anas Sheikh (B.Des Fashion Design, Batch 2016–2020) made his debut at GenNext Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI. The 2025 edition of the GenNext showcase, held in Mumbai, featured 7 emerging designers presenting their collections before a distinguished jury of industry leaders.
Anas was among the 3 winners selected to present at Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India. His collection under his brand, 23°N 69°E, draws its name from the coordinates of Kachchh — the land where his creative journey began.
What makes it distinct is the intentional use of broken and worn Ajrakh blocks — a thoughtful design choice that celebrates the passage of time, the endurance of craft tools, and the quiet beauty of what remains.

IIAD 2027 Eligibility Criteria

- Applicants must qualify 10+2 level or its equivalent in any stream (Science, Humanities/ Arts, Commerce) from any recognized board (CBSE/ ISC/ State/ IB/ Indian or International HIgher Secondary Board).
- Candidates must have attained a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in 10+2 level to be eligible for admission.
- Those candidates in final year or awaiting result are also eligible for admission.
For PG Courses:
- Those graduated candidates in any stream or discipline from a recognized university/ institute can apply for admission.
- Candidates appearing in the final year or awaiting for result can also apply for admission.
IIAD 2027 Admission Procedure
Candidates who qualify in the entrance exam will be able to participate in the IIAD 2027 admission procedure. Initially, candidates will have to register themselves through online mode on the IIAD website. There will be various factors based on which admission will be given to the candidates.
Moreover, the authority will prepare a merit list based on the marks scored by the candidates in the entrance exam. Candidates will get admission based on the interview round and entrance exam scores. For confirming the admission, one will have to submit the prescribed amount of application fee. IIAD also offers merit-cum-means scholarships for deserving candidates. Applications are open post-admission offers, based on entrance exam results and financial need.
IIAD 2027 Entrance Exam
To offer admission into various courses at IIAD, the authority conducts its own entrance exam. IDAT (IIAD Design Aptitude Test) and IMAT (IIAD Management Aptitude Test) are the entrance exams. It is a written test designed to analyse the creative and visual ability, cultural ability, cultural awareness and logical thinking of candidates.
The IDAT paper is a combination of visual tasks, writing tasks, one-word answers and multiple choice questions. iMAT is a written test designed to assess the logical reasoning and creative thinking of candidates. A personal interview will be conducted on the completion of the IMAT written test. The exam will be conducted through online & offline mode. One will need to visit the IIAD campus – New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai for an offline exam.
IIAD 2027 Result
IIAD 2027 result will be announced via online mode. Candidates will have to visit the website to access the result. The university will prepare the result, based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam & interview round. It will be released separately for both UG & PG level courses.
It will consist of the total marks of candidates obtained in the entrance exam & other related information related to the exam. Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as application number and password to access the result. After downloading the result from the website, candidates are suggested to keep the hardcopy of the result safe for further usage in admission.
IIAD 2027 Counselling
Those selected candidates in the entrance exam will be able to participate in IIAD 2027 counselling procedure. In the selection process, there will be two rounds such as IIAD Aptitude Test and Personal Interview/ Portfolio assessment.
