NIIT University 2027 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech:
Candidates can get B.Tech eligibility for streams – CSE, ECR, AI & DS, Cyber Security, Biotechnology, Robotics & Automation:
- Qualifying Level: Candidates who have qualified class 10th/ 12th level or equivalent from a recognized board or university can apply.
- IB/ Cambridge Board: One with secured ≥ Grade in IB Board or minimum Grade C in IGCSE board can apply.
- Class X/ XII Required Subjects: Candidates must have English and any 4 subjects in 10th. For class 12th, refer to the table below.
- Qualifying Marks: To apply, one with 55% aggregate marks in 10th & 12th are eligible.
- Entrance Exam Scores: A valid score of JEE Main/ BITSAT/ SAT/ CUET/ NEET/ IPMAT/ any state engineering entrance exam percentile/ score is considered for admission.
- Those candidates who do not have any of the above mentioned scores, the NU Aptitude Test (NUAT) will be mandatory. However, candidates with a valid JEE Main/ BITSAT/ SAT/ CUET/ NEET/ IPMAT/ any state engineering entrance exam percentile/ score are strongly recommended to take NUAT. Better of two scores will be considered.

For BBA/ iMBA:
- Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 10th & 12th level exam from a recognized board or university to apply.
- IB/ Cambridge Board: Secured ≥ Grade 4 in IB Board or minimum Grade D in IGCSE Board.
- Marks: In class 10th & 12th, candidates must score a minimum 50% aggregate marks.
- Class X Required Subjects: English and any 4 subjects.

- Candidates not having any of the above percentile/ score, NUAT will be compulsory.
For M.Tech Course (ET):
- Criteria: Applying candidates to University’s M.Tech Educational Technology course may choose between two specializations – Teaching Learning Process Innovation and Business Model Process Innovation depending on whether they qualify as in-service or pre-service. Candidates need to indicate their choice at the time of application.
- Class X & XII/ Bachelors/ Master’s: One should score Aggregate marks ≥ 50%.
- Other Criteria:
- Candidates must have a four year Bachelors degree in Engineering (any stream).
- Professionals with 3 years Bachelor’s degree must have adequate IT training and professional practice (min 2 years) in an ET relevant industry/ organization/ department. Also, they should have 3 years relevant experience in any of the above mentioned areas.
- Pre-service applicants need to appear for NIIT university ET admission competency test and subsequent screening interview.
- In-service candidates will be evaluated based on the candidate’s interest, experience and suitability for course along with recommendation of the sponsoring organization.
NIIT University 2027 Admission Procedure
The NIIT University 2027 admission procedure is applicable for those applying for NU’s B.Tech, BBA, and iMBA. There is a unique admission procedure followed by NIIT University to encourage candidates to make a thoughtful decision about their dream course.
The registration process will be the first step of the admission procedure. Eligible candidates can apply through two modes i.e Early Admission Mode (EAD) or Regular Admission Mode (RAD). NU conducts a completely transparent admission procedure and gives a fair chance to candidates to prove themselves.
Moreover, NU offers admission based on merit scores of national/ state level entrance exam or NUAT. Candidates who will apply for B.Tech, BBA & iMBA and appear for NUAT will need to undergo a Student Personal Interaction (PI) and NU-AP which is followed by parents meeting with the NU faculty panel (optional).
NIIT University 2027 Entrance Exam (NUAT)
NIIT University conducts its own entrance exam to offer admission into various courses. NUAT (NIIT University Aptitude Test) is a MCQ based online test. Every year, the NUAT exam is conducted at university level to offer admission into various courses.
The question paper comprises logical reasoning, data interpretation, quantitative techniques and English comprehension. A total of 50 minutes will be given to solve the exam. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Those candidates who have not appeared for JEE Main/ BITSAT/ SAT/ CUET/ NEET/ IPMAT/ any state engineering entrance exam will mandatorily have to appear for NUAT exam. NUAT is exempted if candidates have a valid JEE Mains/ BITSAT/ SAT/ CUET/ NEET/ IPMAT scorecard
NIIT University 2027 Result/ Merit List
Result for NIIT University 2027 will be released through online mode. Candidates will need to visit the website to access the result. Candidates who have successfully appeared for the NUAT entrance exam will be able to access their result.
Based on the candidate’s performance in academics/ entrance exam, the merit list will be prepared by the authority. Candidates whose name will appear in the merit lit will be eligible to participate in the counselling procedure.
NIIT University 2027 Counselling/ Interview
The NIIT University 2027 counselling procedure will be organised for qualified candidates. Those shortlisted candidates need to stay updated with the counselling/ interview process.
After qualifying the NUAT exam, one will be required to participate in a Personal Interview (PI) with NU-AP Panel. Parents can also avail overnight stay facility at campus by paying a nominal fee. In such cases, a prior booking is necessary. All meals will be included in this and a variety of room categories are available to parents.
