AFMC MBBS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Check following eligibility norms before applying for AFMC MBBS 2024:

• Nationality: Indian nationals candidates will be eligible to apply for admission. The foreign national candidates who hold a valid Indian Citizenship or a certificate of eligibility from the Ministry of Home Affairs will be also eligible to apply.
• Qualification: One must have qualified the 12th level exam from any recognized board or university.
• Percentage: Applying candidates must have scored minimum 60% marks in PCB & 50% in English & Science stream.
• Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates will be eligible to apply.
• Subject: The candidate should have completed their education in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English subjects.
• Age Limit: Candidates must not be born earlier than 1st January 2001 & not later than 31st December 2007.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam will be also eligible to apply.

AFMC MBBS 2024 Exam Pattern

Candidates must check following details regarding AFMC MBBS 2024 Exam Pattern:

• Exam mode: It will be held via offline mode (pen and paper-based).
• Questions Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in NEET question paper.
• Number of Questions: There will be total of 200 questions out of which 180 questions are mandatory. In the section B, choices will be given to candidates.
• Timing: Candidates will be given 3 hours and 20 minutes to solve NEET paper.
• Medium: It will be held in various languages such as English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Punjabi.
• Marking Scheme : For each correct answer, +4 marks will be alloted

The syllabus for AFMC MBBS 2024 will include topics from class 11th & 12th. The courses like education system/ Pre-medical/ Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination of State Board of Education or University is the standard of Entrance examination for admission to its MBBS course.

AFMC MBBS 2024 Result

AFMC MBBS 2024 Result will be released in the form of merit list. Candidates will be able to download it via online mode from last week of May 2024. It will be released separately for both girls & boys. 

Candidates whose name will appear in the merit list will further have to participate in the admission procedure. First, provisional merit list will be published & then final merit list. It will be also published via online mode separately for UG & PG courses.

AFMC MBBS 2024 Cut Off

The cut off criteria for AFMC MBBS 2024 via online mode by AFMC, Pune. Cut off marks are the minimum marks one have to score to fulfill the criteria to qualify the marks. It depends on various factors such as difficulty level of exam, previous year cut off criteria, no. of students appeared in the exam & marking scheme.

Cut off will be released after the declaration of NEET result. Candidates who score exact or more than cut off marks will be able to take part in counselling procedure. It will be mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in selection process.

AFMC MBBS 2024 Selection Process

Candidate’s selection for AFMC MBBS 2024 will be done on the basis of merit list. Further shortlisted candidates will be called for for a Test of English language, Logic and Reasoning (ToELR), Comprehension, Psychological Assessment Test (PAT), Interview and Medical examination.

It will be mandatory for such candidates to participate in the admission rounds. The process of interview will be held in the month of May 2023 at AFMC Pune.

AFMC MBBS 2024 Admission Procedure

Two merit list (separately for boys & girls) will be prepared on the basis of NEET UG score & screening at AFMC. A final merit list will be prepared on the basis of written ToELR + NEET + Interview scores.

The admission process will commenced from first week of June 2024. Only the shortlisted candidates will be considered for admission in accordance with their final merit position. Candidates will get admission after verification of documents & submission of fee.
