How to Register for AIIMS PG 2027

- Go to ‘Academic Courses’ section.
- Choose ‘Postgraduate’ option to apply for INI CET or ‘Super specialisation’ option to apply for INI SS.
- Select ‘January/ July session’ section.
- Under description section, students can view details related to prospectus, advertisement, notification, seat position, result, login to register.
- OTR registration will be done entering basic details.
- The basic information is fetched and verified via ‘Digi-locker’ in OTR as applicable.

AIIMS PG 2027 Eligibility

For MD/ MS /M.Ch/ D.M (6 years)/ MDS & MD (Hospital Administration):
- Qualifying level: Candidates should have MBBS degree for MD, MS, DM, M.Ch, MD from a university recognised by NMC/ MCI.
- Minimum marks: Applying candidates must have obtained 55% aggregate marks for OBC/ EWS and 50% marks for ST/ SC category.
- Training: He/she must have completed required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/ Practical training on or before 31st January, 2026 of all INIs.
For D.M/ M.Ch.(3 year):
- Qualifying level: Candidate should have MD/ DNB degree in relevant field from any MCI approved board or university.
- Age Criteria: Upper age limit is 35 years as on 1st January 2027. 3 years age relaxation is provided to OBC category and 5 years to SC/ ST category.

AIIMS PG 2027 Admission Procedure
For admission in AIIMS into 3 & 6 years medical courses, candidates have to qualify stages. The selection procedure varies for admission through INI CET and INI SS.
Through INI SS, students have to qualify exam in two stages – Stage 1 which is applicable to all participating institute and stage 2 which is applicable to all AIIMS/ PGIMER, Chandigarh only.
AIIMS PG 2027 Entrance Exams (INI CET / INI SS)
AIIMS conducts INI CET and INI SS entrance exam twice a year for admission in PG medical courses.
INI CET exam is conducted in online CBT mode. The paper will be of 3 hours (45 minutes sectional time limit) with objective type of questions. There will be total 200 questions. According to marking scheme, 1 mark will be given for each correct answer and -1/2 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.
INI SS exam will be conducted in CBT mode in English medium language. Paper will have total 80 objective type questions and 90 minutes will be provided to complete paper. +1 mark will be provided for every correct response and -1/3 mark deducted for each incorrect response.
AIIMS PG 2027 Merit List
To qualify for admission in AIIMS, seat allocation, students must obtain 50% or more marks in Stage 1 & II combined. No students will declared qualified if he/she fails to attend or qualify any stage.
Two Merit List of qualifying candidates will be prepared based on performance in Stage 1 and II exam. AIIMS merit list will be released for allocation of seats in all AIIMS institutions. A rank will be assigned and will be placed in list in order of overall rank.
AIIMS PG 2027 Counselling
The counselling cum seat allocation schedule is provided on the website of INI SS and INI CET for PG and super specialisation courses.
Counselling is conducted in various rounds including various stages – choice filling, seat allocation, online allocated seat acceptance and reporting & submission of documents. Students reporting in-person at the allocated institute have to deposit original certificates.
