The decision to not postpone the exam has left some candidates unable to appear for the test. Adding to the challenges, recent India-Pakistan tensions have caused disruptions in certain areas, leading to security concerns and transportation issues, especially in affected regions.

Who is responsible for poor transport connectivity to exam centers, centers allotted far from candidates’ homes, sometimes even in different cities, centers not matching preferred location choices, and exam clashes with other national-level entrance tests?

The answer remains unclear. But the bigger question now is: Will NTA re-conduct the exam for the affected candidates? That is something students across the country are waiting to find out.

Candidates Share Their CUET 2025 Struggles

Candidates whose exams are yet to be held are requesting NTA to reschedule their exams, and those whose exams are missed are requesting a second chance. Candidates are reaching NTA over social media and mail, but it has also been said by CUET aspirants that they are not getting any response.

  1. I’m late to reach the exam center on 13-05-2025 because of landslide and traffic jam

  2. My first CUET-UG, 2025 was on the 14th of May at 3 pm, for Geography (Paper 313). I’d started early, but there was transport disruption because the train got derailed on the tracks, causing delay of 2 hours. Also, the centre was located at a huge distance away from my place of residence and hence I could commute only by train. But I could not write my Geography (Paper 313) exam because of transport disruption, the news of which came out on papers the next day. So, please consider my genuine grievance and take a re-examination of the Geography (313) paper in Kolkata also. The NTA is famous for its fairness in conducting the exams, and my grievance of transport disruption was genuine, which I can prove from newspaper reports and absolutely beyond my control as well.

    1. As you mentioned that you have officially submitted a grievance to NTA, you are required to wait for their response. Make sure to check your mail requests. Hopefully, your concern will be considered for a re-exam.
