CUET UG 2026 Exam delay: National Testing Agency has recently reported technical glitch in CUET UG 2026 exam scheduled on 30th May 2026 (Shift 1).
Earlier, the exam on 28th May was rescheduled on 31st May and 6th/7th June 2026. Also, admit card for shift 1 was released online.
However, on the exam day (30th May 2026), various students experienced delay at exam centres. As per the data, almost 95% students were able to complete their exam at respective centres successfully.
Remaining 3,765 candidates were not able to wait until the exam resumed and left their respective exam centres without appearing. CUET UG 2026 exam is scheduled from 11th to 31st May and 6th /7th June 2026 via CBT mode.
How many Candidates Affected by CUET Exam Delay?
Recently the notice released by NTA mentions a total of 73,106 candidates were present at allotted exam centres whose biometric registration were done successfully. However, out of these, 3,765 candidates were not able to attend the exam because of technical glitch which lead to delay in commencement of exam.

So, for the affected candidates, the authority has notified that one time opportunity will be provided with a rescheduled exam date. New date for CUET UG 2026 retest will be announced soon by NTA in a separate notice.

NTA provides subject wise CUET UG Schedule /Date-sheet along with the admit card online. Students are able to check the exam day, shift and time on the datesheet via login.
CUET admit card is yet to be released for 6th/ 7th June 2026. Also, for the remaining affected candidates it will be provided after providing new exam date for them.
