DASA 2024 Counselling Procedure, Allotment – Get Here
DASA 2024 Counselling will be held via online mode. The counselling is carried out by the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, India. Admission will be offered on the basis of SAT score. Through DASA, admissions is provided in NITs, IIEST, IIITs, SPAs, Central Universities and Other Centrally Funded & Premier Technical Institutions. It is conducted for both UG & PG programmes in engineering, architecture design and management courses. In this article, candidates can get the complete information on DASA counselling 2024.
DASA 2024 Counselling
Here, we are providing some important points regarding DASA 2024 Counselling:
- DASA 2024 counselling will be commenced from June 2024 for UG course.
- Authority will conduct the counselling for DASA 2024 through online mode only.
- Counselling will be conducted in various rounds as per the availability of seats after each round of counselling.
- There are three rounds of seat allotment and one spot round if seats remain vacant.
- Candidates will have to confirm their allotted seat after every round of counselling.
- Candidates those have been allotted seat in round 1, 2 & 3 have to report at the allotted institution within stipulated time period.

DASA 2024 Counseling Procedure
The counselling will be started from June 2024. To participate in the counselling, candidates will have to log in their account in the official website of DASA.
After logging candidates will have to do choice filling of courses and colleges as per their priority and preference. Candidates are advised to select as many colleges and courses to increase their chance of getting admission.
Candidates after selecting their preferred course and college are required to submit their choices. Candidates will be required reviewing their choices as they will not allowed to make changes in the choices after submission.
The choice filling and seat allotment will be done in real time. Candidates will be allotted seat immediately after submitting their choices.

DASA 2024 Counselling Rounds
DASA counselling will take place in various rounds which is as explained below:
First Round
The first seat allotment of DASA counselling for UG course will be released in July 2024. The result of seat allotment will be be displayed on the site.
Candidates will have to confirm their allotted seat within 3 day of first round of seat allotment date.
Candidates those are allotted their first choice of institute/course in round 1 have two options, press accept and press decline as per candidate’s choice.
Second Round
All the candidates those does not get allotted seat in first round and those who opted for Accept & Upgrade in first round will be eligible for seat allotment in the second round.
The result of seat allotment will be displayed on the site. Candidates those are allotted seat, have to confirm their seat according to above given procedure.
Third Round
All the candidates those were not allotted seat in second round and opted for Accept & Upgrade in second round are eligible for seat allotment in the third round.
The third round seat allotment result is displayed on the site.
Spot Round
In case seats remain vacant in the participating institutes, it is displayed of DASA website.
Candidates those are allotted seat in spot round as per their choice and do not accept the allotted seat can not be eligible for any refund.
Reporting at the Allotted Institute
Provisional admission letter are issued to only those candidates those were allotted institute/course as per allotment list.
Provisional allotment letter are submitted at the allotted institute at the time of admission.
Admission is based on verification of original documents and satisfying the physical fitness prescribed by concerned institute during the time of admission.

Any other data related Jee mains percentile and DASA rank would be helpful. Please provide data.
Do we know approx how many students applied through DASA and any comparison of say 250 rank of DASA with JEE main score ?
I am not allocated in the 1st round. There is no option for me to upgrade. It just shows I am not allocated in the 1st round. Should I just wait for the next round or is there an option of ‘upgrade’?

I filled choices as per stream in dasa for colleges
And I got a list of first round
On 6 Nov 2020 ,in which I got a college of 11 th rank
If I choose accept and upgrade
Will my this seat will be reserved
in 2 round also
If I choose accept and upgrade will I loose the seat I got in my first round?
You can click ACCEPT AND UPGRADE, which means seat allotted to you in first list will stay with you and in next round if you get upgraded then you will loose the right of this first list otherwise this seat of first list will stay with you. Don’t worry.
Kindly clarify that, now i have allocated choice three in my first round of allocation of DASA i prefer to get Choice one or 2 if i accept and upgrade what will happen in the next round, whether i will get choice 2 or 1 or i will even lose the seat right now i got allocated
