DBUU Eligibility Criteria
Check DBUU eligibility criteria prescribed for various courses:
B.Tech programme:
- Qualifying Level: Candidates should have passed 12th level from a recognised board or university.
- Qualifying Subjects: Students in 12th level must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one among Chemistry/ CS/ IT/ Electronics/ Informatics practices/ Biology subjects.
- Qualifying Marks: In the qualifying level, candidates should have obtained atleast of 55% marks in above subjects taken together (50% marks in case of reserved category).
MBA programme:
- Qualifying Level: Candidates should have passed Bachelors degree (3 years duration) in any discipline from a recognised college or university.
- Qualifying Marks: Students should have obtained atleast of 55% marks in qualifying exam (50% in case of reserved category).
DBUU 2026 Admission Procedure
DBUU Dehradun Admission 2026 begins with the release of applications for session 2026. Candidates have to submit application via online or offline mode with payment of fee.
Although the university’s selection process follows merit based admission procedure but DBUU Scholarship Entrance Test 2026 (DBUUSET) is also conducted. Those under Super50 ranks are considered eligible for admission via DBUUSET score.
DBUU Entrance Exam 2026
DBUU Super50 Scholarship Entrance Test (DBUUSET) for is conducted every year for provide 100% scholarship opportunity to meritorious candidates. It is only applicable to UG and diploma programs.
This university level entrance exam is conducted via online mode and can be taken from home or DBUU campus. Paper will be of 100 marks of 90 minutes duration. Only the ones securing score more than 75% are considered eligible for 100% Scholarship.
DBUU Admission 2026 Merit List
DBUU Merit list is provided online on the website soon after the submission of applications and attempting the entrance test. Complete list of eligible candidates selected for further participating in counselling/ seat allotment procedure is provided.
Candidates can view the merit list/ result in August 2026 few hours after attempting the test. The merit list calls out name of eligible students and provides further counselling/ admission information.
