Diploma Engineering Courses:

• Qualification: Applicants must have successfully completed their 10th-grade from a recognized board.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing for qualifying examination will also be eligible to apply.

Diploma Engineering (Lateral) Courses:

• Qualification: One must have passed 12th grade from a recognized board or completed three-year diploma/ 10+(2 years ITI) in any branch of Engineering and Technology to be eligible for admission.
• Subject: Applicants must have passed with subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship.
• Appearing: Students appearing in the qualifying exam will also be eligible to apply.

Non-Engineering Diploma Courses:

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed their 12th grade from a recognized board or any other qualification approved by Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent.
• Subject: Applicants must have  Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects  in their qualifying exam.

Haryana Polytechnic (DET) 2026 Merit List 

Haryana DET merit list for 2026 will be released by the authority via online mode on 20th May 2026 (5 pm) for Diploma Engineering and on 18th May 2026 (5 pm) for lateral entry. Separate merit lists will be created for different courses by the authorities. 

These lists will be based on subject-wise and aggregate percentage marks obtained in qualifying exam, number of applicants and other criteria. Students must attend counselling sessions according to their merit ranking. 

Haryana DET 2026 Cut Off  

Haryana DET cut off 2026 will be the minimum scores required by students to be eligible for participation in counseling process. These cut off marks will be made available via online mode on the HSTSE website. 

Achieving the minimum cut off score will be mandatory for admission. The cut off scores will be determined by factors such as total number of candidates, number of available seats, candidate category etc.

Haryana DET 2026 Counselling

The authority will organize an online off campus counselling procedure for admission into Diploma Engineering/Lateral Engineering and Diploma Pharmacy courses. The counselling session will be started in second week of July 2026 for Diploma Engineering and fourth week of June 2026 for Diploma in Lateral Engineering courses.

Candidates will be invited to Haryana Polytechnic (DET) counseling 2026 based on their merit ranking in the qualifying exam. The counseling process will involve multiple stages, including registration, choice preference selection and other admission procedures.

Candidates will be required to bring their original documents for verification during counseling such as qualifying exam certificate, character certificate, medical fitness certificate, proof of income, Aadhar card, colored photograph, residence certificate and other relevant documents.
