IISC 2025 is a national level admission procedure organised to provide admission in various UG and PG courses programmes in field of Engineering/Technology and Science. This admission procedure is organised once a year by the Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bangalore. The admission will be offered to candidates based on national level scores. Candidates seeking admission in UG course must have a valid scorecard of JEE Main/JEE Advanced/NEET UG exam. For PG courses, admission will be given on the basis of CAT/GATE/GMAT/CEED scores. IISC 2025 Application Form 

Candidates must go through the given instructions before filling the application form of IISC 2025:

• IISC Application Form 2025 will be made available to candidates through online mode.
• Applicants will be able to fill the online registration form for PG courses in first week of February 2025 and UG courses in second week of March 2025.
• Candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility conditions in order to become eligible to apply for IISC 2025.
• Fill in all the asked details like personal, educational qualifications and address details in the application form.
• All relevant documents like scanned image of passport size photograph, signature, category certificate, marksheet etc must be uploaded in JPG./JPEG. format.
• Candidates must preview all the details entered in application form before final submission as no correction facility will be provided by the authority.
• The last date to submit application form  will be till third week of March 2025 for PG courses and  fourth week of May 2025 for UG courses.
• A copy of filled application form must be preserved by candidates for future correspondence.

Application Fee:

• The IISC 2025 Application fee will be submitted through online mode.
• Online payment will be made using net banking/debit card/visa or master/credit card etc.
• The fee paid by candidates will be non-refundable in nature.

IISC 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must ensure to meet the following eligibility criteria before applying for IISC 2025:

For UG Courses:

• Qualifications: Candidates must have passed intermediate or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.
• Marks: At least a minimum of 60% marks must be secured by candidates in their qualifying exam.
• Subjects: In the qualifying examination, it will be compulsory to have subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 
• Scorecard: To be eligible, candidates must possess any one of JEE Main/NEET UG/JEE Advanced/IISER scorecard as on 1st August 2025.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in the academic year will be eligible for admission.

For PG Courses:

• Qualifications: Candidates having a bachelor’s degree in  engineering/technology or 4 years B.Sc degree will be eligible to apply.
• Candidates who have obtained a MS/MBS degree will also be eligible to apply.
• Applicants who have successfully completed their master’s degree in economics, commerce, management, science, computer science/application, psychology, geography, operation research will also be eligible to apply.
• Scorecard: Candidates must appear for and have a valid scorecard of GATE/ NET/ NET JRF/ GPAT as on 1st August 2025 to become eligible for admission.

How to Apply for IISC 2025 

Here, we have mentioned the steps to apply for IISC 2025:

• Visit the IISC admission portal (link will be given above).
• Click on the UG/PG programme and click  on “New user to register- click here”.
• Register to the portal by providing basic details like name, date of birth and email address etc.
• After registration, an email will be sent with a link to confirm the email address and generate login ID.
• Now, login to the portal to fill the online application form by providing all the required details like personal and academic details.
• Candidates will need to upload documents like scanned image of passport size photograph, signature, category certificate, marksheet etc to complete the application form.
• Cross-check all the details and proceed to payment of application fee.
• Deposit the online application fee using online payment gateways.
• At last, submit the application form and retain a copy of filled application form for future reference.
