Jamia Admission 2024 Eligibility

It will be must for all the candidates those wish to apply for Jamia University 2024 Application, that they must fulfill the required eligibility criteria for admission. The university mention all the eligibility clauses in the prospectus.

The eligibility criteria might be different for each course under UG & PG programmes. Candidates will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria for that particular course for which they wants to apply. If any candidates find ineligible in any stage, then their candidature will get cancelled on the spot.

Candidates also instructed to carefully read all the eligibility clauses regarding nationality, qualification, minimum marks, certificates required, and other eligibilities.

Jamia Admission Eligibility 2024

Here, candidates must check the complete eligibility criteria which is required to get admission in JMI University.

CUET Eligibility

  • Nationality: Indian national citizens are eligible to apply.
  • Qualification (UG): Applying candidates must have qualified 12th level exam from any recognized board or university.
  • For PG, candidates must have passed bachelor’s degree from any recognized board or university.
  • Percentage: Candidates must have qualified with minimum 50% marks in their graduation to be eligible.
  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for CUET 2024.

Jamia Eligibility

  • Nationality: Indian and Foreign Nationals both will be eligible to apply.
  • Qualifying Exam: A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination from a board/university/institute recognized by JMI. Foreign nationals universities should have equivalence degree established by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • Appearing Candidates: Candidates those results for the qualifying examinations have not been declared yet, they may also apply.
  • They must submit the required certificates till the document verification round, failing which their admission will be cancelled.

Course-Wise Eligibility Criteria

Here, we have mentioned the course-wise eligibility criteria for various courses offered by the university. Candidates will be able to check their eligibility for the course they wants to apply for.

Postgraduate Courses:

M.A:

B.A./B.A. (Hons) /B.Sc./B.Com.(Hons.) with at least 45% marks in aggregate and 55% marks in the subject concerned.

OR any bachelor degree with advanced diploma from any recognized university/institute with at least 45% marks in aggregate and 55% marks in the subject concerned.

M.Sc:

B.Sc./ B.Sc. (H), B.A./ B.Pharma.in with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and at least 55% marks in the subject concerned.

M.Tech:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any other equivalent and Relevant degrees in Engineering and Technology only with not less than 60% marks.

LLM:

LL.B. with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade points.

MCA:

Bachelor’s degree in Science/ Natural Science / Social Science/ Engineering /Technology with 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade and Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 or higher level.

OR BCA/ BSc (IT/CS) with at least 50% marks.

MBA:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade.

M.Arch:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent degree recognized by Council of Architecture with not less than 50% marks in absolute system or a minimum grade corresponding to 50% marks on a 10 point scale.

Undergraduate Courses:

B.A.:

12th or an equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks in aggregate or 50% marks in the subject concerned.

BBA:

12th or an equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of best 5-papers or in the subject concerned.

B.Sc:

10+2 or an equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in each of the science subjects i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate of best 5-papers.

B.Tech:

10+2/ 12th or its equivalent of a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their main subjects, with not less than 55% marks in PCM.

OR Diploma in Engineering recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of 3 or 4-year duration with not less than 55% marks.

B.Arch:

Candidate will have to qualify 10+2 examination & must secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics, English, Physics, and Chemistry subjects to be eligible.

OR A 3-year Diploma (10+3) recognized by Central/State government provided that the candidate passed the Diploma with 50% marks in aggregate.

B.A. LL.B:

Candidate must qualify the class 12th examination in the 10+2 scheme or its equivalent in any discipline securing in the aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks in all the core subjects and English Language put together.
