JMI (Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Exam) is conducted at university level to provide admission into various UG & PG Level courses. Based on CUET UG & CUET PG, admission will be provided, also there will be Non-CUET courses for which the university conducts its entrance exam. 

NTA (National Testing Agency) is the conducting authority of CUET UG & PG entrance exam. Admission to B.Tech program, JEE Main scores will be required & NATA exam scores will be required for B.Arch admission.

How to Apply for Jamia 2026 

Get step-by-step procedure to apply for Jamia 2026: 

• Step-1: Visit the website of Jamia (Link is given above). 
• Step-2: Press the “Apply Now” button to register. 
• Step-3: Now register using basic details such as name, email, category, etc. 
• Step-4: Validate the details by entering the OTP & proceed to fill the form. 
• Step-5: Fill the application form with personal, education & communication details. 
• Step-6: Upload the scanned documents such as photograph & signature in prescribed format & size. 
• Step-7: Submit the prescribed amount of application fee using available gateways.

Jamia 2026 Eligibility Criteria 

Complete Jamia 2026 eligibility criteria is mentioned below, Also CUET UG & PG: 

For Non-CUET Courses: 

• B.Tech: Applying candidates must qualify class 12th level exam with minimum 55% marks from a recognized board or university. One must have a valid JEE Main score to be eligible.
• B.FA: To be eligible, candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent level exam with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from recognized boards. 
• M.Sc (Physics): Applying candidates must have passed B.Sc degree with minimum 50% marks and 55% marks in relevant subjects. 
• MBA/ MCA: To apply, candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks. 

For CUET UG: 

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 12th level exam from any recognized board to apply. 
• Age Limit: There is no age limit criteria to apply for CUET UG exam. 
• Appearing: Those candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in final year can also apply for admission. 

For CUET PG: 

• Qualification: Those applying candidates must be graduated from any recognized board or university. 
• Age Limit: To apply, there will be no age limit criteria set by authority. 
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in final year are also eligible to apply. 

Jamia 2026 Exam Pattern

For Non-CUET: 

• Mode of Exam: Candidates can appear for the exam via online mode. 
• Type of question: There will be Objective type questions/ Multiple choice questions asked in the exam. 
• Marking scheme: For each correct answer, one mark will be awarded 
• Negative marking: 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. 

Jamia 2026 Syllabus 

The complete syllabus of Jamia 2026 will be released by the authority for Non-CUET level courses. Candidates will be able to visit the website to access the syllabus. CUET UG syllabus will be the same as the syllabus of class 11th & 12th.

Jamia Admit Card 2026

JMI will release the admit card in the third week of April 2026 onwards. Jamia 2026 hall ticket will be issued before one week from the examination date. Candidates can download their admit card as per their courses.

University will also intimate the students regarding release of admit card on their registered Email ID or mobile number. Admit card can be download through online mode by entering the login details. After downloading the admit card, paste a self attested passport size photograph in the admit card.

Jamia 2026 Answer Key

Jamia Exam Answer Key 2026 will be uploaded on the website. The answer key will be available of multiple choice questions only. It will be available within the five working days after the examination date.

The university will also offer the facility to submit objection regarding answer key. Within 48 hours, candidates will have to submit their objections (if any). Rs.200 per question will be charged for answer key objection.

Jamia Result 2026

A merit list will be prepared as per the marks scored in the entrance test. Jamia 2026 Result will be announced in the last week of October 2026. The result will be announced in PDF format as per the courses. Candidates will have to check their application number in the Jamia Rank List whether they are selected for admission.

Candidates must keep their result safe till the admission process gets completed. No individual intimation will be sent to candidates by the university regarding declaration of result. So, candidates keep checking the website regularly.

Jamia 2026 Counselling

Jamia Admission Process 2026 will begin from the month of October/November 2026. This will begin after the declaration of entrance test result. Candidates shortlisted for interview are needed to carry their admit card or other required documents at the time of verification.

Counselling process will also be organized based on JEE Main, CUET & other entrance scores. Admissions will be provided in programmes strictly on the basis of details & choices filled in application, rank, category, seat availability etc. Selected candidates must complete their admission formalities before the due date.
