J&K Polytechnic 2023 Counselling will be started from September 2023. J&K Polytechnic Entrance Test (PET) is conducting every year by J&K BOPEE. Through this entrance test, candidates will get admission into various polytechnic diploma courses. After the J&K PET 2023 result announcement, candidates will be called for the counselling process. Only those candidates will be able to participate in the counselling process who will be shortlisted in the merit list. The complete details of counselling will be provided on the website.

The counselling will be organised through online mode. Candidates will have to pay counselling fee of Rs. 500/- through debit/ credit card. Seats will be allotted to the candidates as per the availability of seats, reservation criteria, marks obtained by students in the entrance test etc.

J&K Polytechnic 2023 Merit List

After the results declaration of J&K PET 2023, the merit list will be prepared by the Board. The Board will prepare the merit list for candidates of various categories. Candidates will get shortlisted in the merit list as per their marks obtained in the entrance test.

Students will have to score minimum cut off marks decided for various categories to be eligible to participate in the counselling process. In case there will be a tie between two or more candidates, the selection of the candidate for admission into the college will be done on the basis of inter-se-merit.

J&K Polytechnic 2023 Counselling Procedure

Candidates must check the complete schedule and other details of J&K PET 2023 Counselling from the website. The counselling procedure will be started after the selection of the candidates in the merit list. Shortlisted candidates will have to be present individually at the allotted counselling venue within the time period prescribed by the Board.

The counselling process will consist of seat allotment and document verification of the candidates. Also candidates will be required to pay the non-refundable counselling fee. Seats will be allocated to the candidates in the order of merit list. In case any seat remains vacant, the same will be offered to the next candidate in the order of merit.

For the document verification round, candidates will have to submit their original as well as photocopies of the necessary documents/ testimonials. The documents to be submitted during counselling for verification are as under:

• 10^th/ 12^th Mark sheet and Pass certificate
• Category certificate
• Permanent residence certificate
• Category certificate
• Any Photo Id proof
• Several passport size photographs etc.

J&K Polytechnic 2023 Counselling process will be started after the selection of the candidates in the merit list. It is important for the candidates to be individually present at the allotted college with the necessary documents.

No candidate will be allotted seats without showing their original as well as photocopies of their documents. Also qualified candidates will be able to choose their choice of course and college.
