Admission Procedure

The candidates are required to appear and qualify in the NEET 2023 exams and then subsequently apply online for the MBBS BDS courses in Chhattisgarh by paying the application fee and verifying the required documents.

AIIMS MBBS entrance examination conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi. It is an entrance exam through which candidates get admission into MBBS course in AIIMS institutions.

Entrance Exams

NEET:

Through National Eligibility cum Entrance examination a candidate can apply for MBBS/BDS course in the state of Chhattisgarh. By qualifying in NEET 2023 a candidate will become eligible to enroll in M.B.B.S /B.D.S in the state of Chhattisgarh.

AIIMS:

The candidates will have the option to appear for AIIMS MBBS entrance test in the State of Chhattisgarh. If a candidate gets qualified in the AIIMS MBBS 2023 then they will become eligible to pursue MBBS course at Raipur AIIMS.

Chhattisgarh MBBS/BDS Admission 2023

Eligibility:

Nationality:

• Candidate should be a citizen of India
• Under Section 7 (A) of Citizenship Act 1955, the Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) are also eligible to apply for AIIMS MBBS admission.
• These candidates need to satisfy all the criteria of eligibility above.
• The candidates will also have to submit a proof of Registration as OCI or NRI, under the give Section 7 (A) of Citizenship Act 1955.

For NEET:

• Candidate should be the citizen of India.
• Age of the candidates should not be less than 17 years and more than 25 years.
• Candidates should be qualified in the class 12 or equivalent examination from Chhattisgarh board or any other board recognized by Chhattisgarh government with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
• Score of candidates should be at least 50% (SC/ST/OBC category, it is 40 %.) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.
• Candidate must secure minimum required percentile in NEET UG 2023.
• Candidate should be the resident of Chhattisgarh State.
• Candidate must have completed Class 11 and Class 12 from a University or Board located recognized by the state.
• Candidate must be qualified till Class 5 from the state of Chhattisgarh.

For AIIMS:

Age Limit:

• Candidate should be above the age of 17 years, as on December 31, 2023.
• There will be no upper age limit to apply for NEET UG.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates should have qualified 10+2 / equivalent from a recognized board.
• The candidates must have had Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as subjects in their 10+2/ equivalent exam.
• In the above mentioned subjects, the applicant should have secured a minimum of 60% marks(50%.for SC / ST / PwD category).

Selection Procedure

NEET:

The candidates are required to appear in the NEET 2023 examinations as a first step. After which they require to apply for Chhattisgarh MBBS/BDS 2023 by filling the online application form. After that based on the applications received the Directorate of Medical Education will prepare a merit list in which the names of the candidates who are called for counselling. In the counselling, they have to produce the required original certificates and after successful verification the authorities will allot a seat where the candidate needs to report to in stipulated time.

AIIMS:

The candidate needs to apply, appear and subsequently qualify the AIIMS MBBS examination in order to gain admission through it. After the declaration of result a common merit list will be declared (Separate merit list will be declared for reserved category candidates). The candidates will be called for the counselling at AIIMS, New Delhi and in the counselling; Seats will be allotted in all the seven AIIMS institutes. The selected candidates will have to report to the respective AIIMS institute to undergo medical examination by a Medical Board after which they will have to submit the required documents in order to be allotted a seat after verification of the same.
