Admission Procedure
On the basis of application form, Goa MBBS/ BDS merit list 2024 is released. It provides details regarding eligibility for further admission process of candidates. The admission in the year 2024 is based on the merit cum preference and the candidates with NEET 2024 score are given preference during counselling session.
Entrance Exams
The Goa MBBS/ BDS admissions are done on the basis of NEET exam. The counselling of NEET 2024 in Goa state is organised for the candidates those appear and get qualified marks in the exam. NEET is conducted during the month of May every year. In year 2024, it is conducted on 5th May 2024.

Goa MBBS/BDS Admission 2024
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate should be of Indian nationality.
- NRI (Non Resident Indians) having Indian passports, Overseas Citizens of India cards and persons of Indian Origin are also eligible.
- Minimum age of the candidates should be 17 years of age as on December 31 of the academic year when applying.
- Candidates should have passed in class 12th with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects.
- Candidate must have scored the minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% in case of PWD and 40% in case of reserved categories) in PCB.
Selection Process
As per the ranks secured by the qualified candidate in NEET 2024 exams provided in the application form, the merit list is prepared by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). After which only the shortlisted candidates are able to attend the counselling procedure. The counselling is based on the marks scored and choices preferred by the candidates.
The seat allotment is announced by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). Candidates then have to report at the counselling center on the mentioned schedule in order to verify their documents and collect the admission order.
