Admission Procedure
A Candidate aspiring to enroll in MBBS & BDS courses in Telangana state requires appearing and qualifying in the NEET 2023 examination. Then they will need to apply online through the application form for Telangana MBBS/BDS 2023.
Based on the applications received, the authorities will publish the Telangana MBBS merit list 2023 which will give information about the candidates who are eligible to attend the Telangana MBBS counselling 2023.
Entrance Exams
The MBBS & BDS courses in the state of Telangana will be offered based on the results of NEET UG 2023. Candidates those desires to study in any medical institution situated in Telangana they will need to qualify the NEET Examination.
There will be no separate entrance examination conducted by any Government or Private university that conducts MBBS/BDS entrance exams. Admission in AIIMS & JIPMER will also be done through NEET UG 2023 scores.

Telangana MBBS/BDS Admission 2023
Eligibility:
- Applicants should be the citizen of India /Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) card holder.
- The candidate should be a local/non-local resident for Telangana State.
- There will be 85% seats out of the total number of seats reserved for a local candidate.
- There will be 15% seats available for non-local candidate.
- Candidate should be a resident of Telangana state for a period of 10 years.
- The candidate should be qualified in Class 12 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English to be eligible for Telangana MBBS 2018 admission.
- The candidate belonging to General category must obtain at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology.
- The candidate belonging to Reserved category must obtain at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology.
- The candidate belonging to Person with disability (PH) category must obtain at least 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology.
- Applicants must have at least scored the cutoff marks in NEET 2023 to be eligible for Telangana MBBS 2023 admission.
Selection Procedure
The candidate who want to enroll in MBBS or BDS course in the state of Telangana have to appear and qualify in the NEET 2023 examination. After that, they have to fill their respective personal and educational details and apply for the Telangana MBBS/BDS 2023 by paying the application fee.
Based on the applications received by the authorities, a provisional merit list is prepared and the candidates who get selected will get a call of counselling. The candidates then require to verify the listed documents in order to proceed further. After the documents are verified the authorities will publish the final merit list.
Then candidates having their names in the merit list have to lock their preferred options for colleges. Based on their rank and preference the candidates will be allotted seats. The candidate have to report to the allotted college within the stipulated time to get enrolled.

- Class 10 pass certificate (as a proof of date of birth)

- Pass certificate from Class 6 to Class 12
- Caste certificate (If Applicable)
- Aadhar Card
- Minority certificate ( If Applicable)
- 10 year of resident certificate for those who have studied outside the state of Telangana
- Income certificate (applicable to those claiming fee exemption)
- Local status certificate
