NEST (National Entrance Screening Test) is conducted once in a year in 120 cities of India. Through this exam, candidates will also get admission in UM-DAE CEBS (University of Mumbai-Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences), Mumbai.

NEST Admit Card 2026

Admit card of NEST 2026 will be downloaded by applicants from the website only. Intimation regarding availability of admit card for download will be released through online mode.

Candidates will have to bring the admit card and photo ID proof at the examination hall. The admit card will not be sent by post to the candidates individually.

Candidates are advised to keep the admit card till admission procedure will be over. Candidates are instructed to check all details printed on the admit card carefully.

Do not forget to carry it in the examination hall as without it no candidate will be allowed to enter into the examination hall.

NEST 2026 Admit Card Releasing Date

The NEST Admit card will be made available from 15th May 2026. The written test will be held on 6th June 2026.

The answer key will be published after 1-2 days of the examination. Candidates will also be able to file their objections against answer key by the authority.

Objections will be submitted till June 2026. After accepting all the objections, the final result will be announced in July 2026.

Selected candidates will be called for the offline counselling on different dates as per candidate’s scores.

How to Download NEST Admit Card

NEST 2026 Admit card downloading process includes the following steps:

• Visit the NEST website link (link will be given above).
• Click on the link and login using your User ID and Password.
• Click on ‘Login’ button for submitting your login credentials.
• After login, you will see an ‘explanatory note’ page about merit list preparation.
• Read the note, and click in the box next to ‘I accept’, enter security (CAPTCHA) code, click in the box next to ‘I agree’, and then the ‘submit’ button.
• Logout from the portal, and re-login or reload the page.
• A new tab with ‘Admit Card’ will be displayed on the portal (next to ‘Applicant Details’ tab).
• Click on the ‘Admit Card’ tab.
• The NEST 2026 admit card will be displayed on the screen.
• Download it and print it for further use.
• Candidates are advised to take the 2-3 printouts of it for further use.

Instructions regarding Exam

• Candidates will have to select the five exam centers while filling up on the application form.
• The examination venue for any test centre will be mentioned on the admit card.
• Candidates must reach the examination venue before half an hour of the examination.
• Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after half an hour of the commencement of exam.
• Use of log tables and calculators will  not be permitted inside the examination room.
• Applicants must carry their own pen, pencil (HB), eraser and sharpener.
• A valid NEST 2026 admit card along with one photo ID proof must be carried during th exam.
• Candidates will have to mark the answers on Computer.
