OUAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria, OUAT Entrance Exam Eligibility

OUAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria has been released along with brochure on the website. OUAT is a university level entrance test organized every year by Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology. Through this entrance test, candidates will get admission into various UG, PG and Doctoral level programmes. Admission into UG programmes will be provided in the fields of Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Fishery Science, Agricultural Engineering and Technology etc. In this article we have provided complete details regarding OUAT Eligibility Criteria 2024.

OUAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The complete eligibility criterion for admission into various UG and PG programmes will be provided below:

• Nationality: Indian National candidate domiciled in the Orissa state are eligible to able to apply.
• Age Criteria: Candidate applying for UG admission must have completed 17 years of age as on 31/12/2024.

UG Programmes:

B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture/Forestry/Horticulture

• Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/her 10+2 level with Science from a recognized Board or University.
• Qualifying subjects: Candidates must have passed his/her 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology subjects.
• Qualifying Marks: Applying candidates in 10+2 level must be passed with minimum aggregate of 50% marks (For ST/SC/PwD candidates – 40%) with extra optional.

B.Tech Agriculture Engineering

• Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/her 10+2 level with Science from a recognized Board or University.
• Qualifying subjects: Candidates must have passed his/her 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.
• Qualifying Marks: Applying candidates in 10+2 level must be passed with minimum aggregate of 50% marks (For ST/SC/PwD candidates – 40%) with extra optional.

B.F.Sc/B.V.Sc & A.H

• Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/her 10+2 level with Science from a recognized Board or University.
• Qualifying subjects: Candidates must have passed his/her 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.
• Qualifying Marks: Applying candidates in 10+2 level must be passed with minimum aggregate of 50% marks (For ST/SC/PwD candidates – 40%) with extra optional.

PG Programmes:

M.Sc. (Mathematics)

• Qualifying Exam: Applying candidate must have passed his/her B.Sc degree with Science from a recognized Board or University.
• Qualifying subjects: Candidates must have passed his/her B.Sc degree in Science with Honors in Mathematics/ Sc (Hons)/Major/Core in Mathematics and computing subjects.
• Qualifying Marks: Applying candidates must have obtained minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Hons/Major/Core subjects (For ST/SC/PwD candidates – 45%).

M.Sc. (Microbiology)

• Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/her B.Sc degree with Science/ B. Sc (Horticulture)/B. Sc (Ag.)/B.V. Sc. & A.H/B.F.Sc. /B. Tech (Dairy Science/Biotechnology) B.H.M.S. from a recognized Board or University.
• Qualifying subjects: Candidates must have passed his/her B.Sc degree in Science with Honors/Core in Botany / Zoology / Microbiology/ Biotechnology.
• Qualifying Marks: Applying candidates must have obtained minimum aggregate of 55% marks in aggregate (For ST/SC/PwD candidates – 45% in Honors subject).

OUAT 2024 Application Form

The OUAT 2024 application form has been released via online mode only on the university website. For Admission into UG Programmes, the application form has been released from 1st March 2024. Application form for PG courses will be released from second week of August 2024.

Candidates can submit the form for OUAT 2024 before the last date i.e. 15th April 2024 (UG Courses) and till second week of September 2024 (PG Courses). Candidates can submit the application fee of Rs. 1500/- for UG & PG Courses.

OUAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria must be checked by the students before filing the application form. Candidates can check the complete eligibility criterion by online mode from the website. Students must make sure they fullfill the complete eligibility otherwise their candidature may get cancelled while the document verification procedure.
