SRMJEEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria must be checked by the candidates before applying for the SRM Joint Engineering entrance test (SRMJEEE). SRM University conducts the entrance test named SRMJEEE to offer admission in engineering courses into the various SRM campuses across the India. Qualified candidates can take admission in the M.Tech and B.Tech programmes offered by the university. SRMJEEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To get admission successfully in various campuses of SRM University, candidates must qualify the eligibility criteria and entrance test.

Candidates must submit their relevant documents or certificates at the time of admission. Candidates must check their eligibility before filling the SRMJEEE application form. The complete eligibility criterion for admission in SRM University is provided below:

Nationality:

• Indian residents can apply.
• Apart from Indian nationals, candidates who are NRI, PIO, OCI card holders can also apply for SRMJEEE.

Age Criteria:

• Candidates applying for the exam should be atleast 16 years of age or must have born between 1 July, 2001 to 1 July, 2017.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have passed their 10+2 level exams or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.
• Candidates must have passed qualifying exams with the compulsory subjects of Physics and Mathematics and any one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics / Botany and (or) Zoology as major subjects in regular stream.
• Candidates must have secured minimum aggregate of 60% marks in PCM subjects in the intermediate level exam to get admission in the Rampuram, Kattankulathur and Vadapalani campuses.

For B.Tech – Biotech/Genetic Engg./Biomedical Engg:

• Candidates must have passed their 10+2 level exams or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.
• Candidates must have passed the qualifying exams with the compulsory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics or Biotechnology.
• Applying candidate must have passed his IB A-level exam with the compulsory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics from any international school located in India.

Appearing Candidates:

• Candidates those are appearing in their last year of 10+2 level exams or its equivalent can also apply.

Additional Eligibility:

• Students who have completed +2 under NIOS must have completed the 10th standard from regular schooling or vice-versa.
• GCE A-level or International Baccalaureate(IB) diploma or IB certificate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as major subjects (equivalent to Advanced Placement level in each subject) in any International schools within India.Note: Only those Candidates who have passed the above qualifying examination in not more than 2 attempts including appearance for improvement will be considered for admission.

SRMJEEE 2024 Application form

The application form of SRMJEEE 2024 can be filled by the candidates through online mode. The online form is made available from 10th November 2023.

The application fee to be submitted by the students is Rs.1200. The fee can be paid by debit/credit card or net banking.
