Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute, TNAU, Tiruchirapalli

The Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute was established in 1992 as a constituent educational institution of the prominent Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in the academic year of 1972 in Coimbatore. The college was shifted to Kumulur later on in the year 1992. The AECRI is a constituent College of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and approved by AICTE. The college offers undergraduate courses in agriculture field.

Campus

The AECRI campus is located at Pallapuram, city Tiruchirapalli, at a distance of 25 km from Trichy. The college campus has been extended in an area of 280 acres of experimental farm, updated with infrastructural facilities for academic.

Facilities

The AECRI campus is facilitated with world class infrastructure and facilities for a comfortable and more productive student life. The facilities at AECRI campus are Laboratory Facilities, computer laboratory equipped with 60 P-IV nodes on LAN system with free internet access through 512 Kbps broadband facility, hostels, well stocked library, fully furnished classrooms/ lecture halls with LCD projectors & multimedia facilities, student’s canteen facility.
