BES Group of Institution, Bangalore

BES Group of Institution, Bangalore came into existence in the year of 1972. The Institution is run by the Bharat Education Society. The Institution is affiliated to the Bangalore University. All the law courses got approval from the Bar Council of India, New Delhi. It is recognized by the Government of Karnataka.

Campus

The Institution campus is located in the heart of Jayanagar, Bangalore, Karnataka. The Institution is well-connected with the various modes of transportation such as rail & road. The Bangalore City railway station is the nearest railway station situated just 8.6 km away from the campus.

Facilities

The Institution has a well-fitted library with a huge collection of books, journals, periodicals, magazines, etc. The Library is well-equipped with modern facilities such as SC/ST Book Bank, UGC Book Bank, Reference Services, Internet facility and others. There is a hostel facility only for girls within a campus. The Institution also provides facilities of sports and games, computer lab, auditorium, canteen, spacious & well-ventilated classrooms, seminar hall & lecture theaters. The Institution has a well-furnished Moot Court to improve the communication & advocacy skills of the students.

Programmes

BES Group of Institution, B.E.S. College of Law runs five years integrated & three years LLB degree programme. There are 60 seats available for five years or three years LLB course.

Law Courses:

  • LLB – 3 years
  • LLB – 5 years

Admission

Students who have complete 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board can appear for 5 years LLB programme. The age limit to apply for 5 years LLB course is 20 years (22 years in case of reserved category. Those students seek admission into 3 years LLB course, they have to pass graduation degree examination. Student’s age should be 30 years (35 years for reserved category) as on 1st August year of admission. Students have to secure minimum 45% marks in case of unreserved category & 40% in the case of reserved category in the qualifying examination. The admission into these courses on the basis of the merit as per the admission rules of Karnataka State Government.
