Darbhanga Medical College, Darbhanga

Darbhanga Medical College is the prestigious college of Darbhanga that was founded to honour Maharaja Dharbhanga. Dharbhanga Medical School was established in the year 1925 and titled as the medical college in 1946. The college is affiliated to the Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga and recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). It has an associated hospital that provides practical medical and clinical teaching to the students.

Campus

The sprawling campus of Darbhanga Medical College is located in Laheriasaria, Darbhanga city of Bihar state. The campus has been constructed over 100 acres of land and consisting of teaching block, hospital building, administrative block and hostels. It is well-connected by various modes of transportation.

Facilities

The college has the fully residential campus that provides hostel facilities to the students. The hostels are furnished with mess, common room and Wi-Fi.  It has a central library that has medical books of all departments and also has a rich collection of national and international journals. The hospital is running under the guidance of highly qualified and dedicated team of doctors and also has hard-working nurses. The highly ventilated lecture halls are equipped with modern learning aids.
