Department of Commerce, University of Delhi, Delhi was established in the year 1967. It is affiliated to University of Delhi and approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). The university offers various courses related to management, commerce etc.

Campus

The university is located in Chhatra Marg, University Enclave, New Delhi. The campus has separate academic and student block and can be easily accessed through any means of transportation by road, rail and air.

Facilities

The university provides all the necessary facilities to the students such as air-conditioned and spacious classrooms, separate residential facilities for boys and girls, a well-facilitated computer centre, auditorium, library which has a collection of books including management books, periodicals, national and international journals and online databases, conference room. Besides this various other recreational facilities like cafeteria, sports facility etc.

Programmes

The university offers programme in Master of International Business (MIB) and Master of Human Resource and Organizational Development (MHROD). The degree of both the programmes is equivalent to the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Placement

The university has a training and placement cell which is headed by the placement officer. The placement officer organizes workshops, seminars, conferences, guest lectures and also provides placement assistance to the students. The placement cell also provides summer internships to the students. The following companies have come for the campus placement Accenture, Absolute Data, Deloitte, Reach Potential,DE Shaw, Aditya Birla Group,Asian Paints Pepsico, Strontium Technology, Honeywell, Copal Partners Barclays and HCL Technologies etc.
