Government Mahila Engineering College (GWECA), Ajmer

The Government Mahila Engineering College is the first women engineering college located in Ajmer, Rajasthan. The foundation of this college is laid by Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhra Raje on 30^th April 2007. The Government Mahila Engineering College is also known as GWECA. This college is affiliated to University of Rajasthan and approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), New Delhi.

Campus

The Government Mahila Engineering College (GWECA) is located on Makhupura, Ajmer, Rajasthan. The GWECA campus is spread over 30 acres of land. It is situated on the National Highway (NH) No-79 (Ajmer-Nasirabad-Bicholia via Chittorgarh) at Nasirabad Road, Makhupura.

This college provides many necessary facilities to their students such as hostel with mess facility (for girls), central library (equipped with thousands of books, journals etc.), medical facility, well-maintained canteen, transport facility, Indoor & Outdoor sports facility, department wise laboratory, internet facility, spacious and airy classrooms and many more.
