• CUSAT Online application form 2026 will be available in first week of February 2026.
• Students can fill form till Last week of May 2026 for MBA and M.Tech courses.
• Applicants can also apply through CUET PG rank online for 10% of the sanctioned strength which is reserved as supernumerary seats. It is not applicable for MBA admission.
• For B.Tech admissions to all specialisations (except for lateral entry/ Marine Engineering), it is compulsory to attempt CUSAT CAT entrance exam.
• For MBA admission, students should have valid score in any management aptitude test – IIM-CAT, CMAT or KMAT.
• In case of any mistake in the form, editing provision will be provided by the authority only once after the final submission of application and before the closing date.

CUSAT CAT 2026 Fees

• The application fee can be paid via online mode. Applicants can pay fee via debit card, credit card, net banking and UPI payment methods.
• For MBA, M.Tech candidates, fee is exempted because of not appearance in CUSAT CAT exam.
• Those applying through CUET PG scores, have to pay CUSAT CAT registration fee.

• Choose the option provided as – ‘CUSAT 2026 UG and PG Application – Apply Here’ under the Academic Admission 2026.
• Now you will be redirected to application form filling page.
• Register by providing basic details and generate OTP.
• Login with the provided details fill the application form entering your personal details and reservation.
• Upload your photograph and signature according to prescribed format and size

CUSAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Basic Eligibility:

• UG Programme: Students applying for UG programme should have relevant 12th grade scores or its equivalent with minimum marks passed with relevant subjects (compulsory + optional). Valid scores of relevant national/ state /university entrance exams ()should be obtained for admission in specific courses.
• PG Programme: Students applying for PG programme should have relevant UG degree or its equivalent with minimum marks passed with relevant subjects (compulsory + optional). Valid scores of relevant national/ state /university entrance exams should be obtained for admission in specific courses.

For B.Tech Programme:

• Qualification Level: Students should have passed class 10+2 exam/ Higher Secondary exam of Kerala state or from relevant board.
• Qualifying Subjects: In qualifying level students should have passed with PCM subjects as optional
• Qualifying Marks: In 12th level, students should have secured at least of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in PCM subjects put together. 5% relaxation in marks is given to SEBC candidates of Kerala state belonging to non-creamy layer category.
• Selection procedure: It is compulsory to attempt CUSAT CAT entrance exam for B.Tech admissions to all specialisations (except for CUSAT Engineering admission in lateral entry and Marine Engineering).

For MBA Programme:

• Qualification Level: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
• Qualifying Marks: Passed bachelors degree with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA grade. Relaxation of 5% in marks is given to the SEBC students of Kerala state belonging to non- creamy layer.
• Valid Scores: Students must have valid mark in any of following management aptitude test – KMAT, CMAT, IIM-CAT.

CUSAT CAT 2026 Exam Pattern

• Exam mode: CUSAT CAT is conducted in computer based test mode.
• Number of Questions: There will be total of 225 objective type MCQ based on plus two level syllabus.
• Test Duration: 3 hours to solve the paper.
• Medium: The question paper will be made available in English language.
• Type of question: There will be Objective type questions or MCQ in exam.
• Total question: In exam, there will be a total of 250 questions.
• Marking scheme: Students will get 3 marks for each correct answer.
• Negative marking: For every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Candidates appearing for CUSAT CAT 2026 exam for admission in UG programmes can prepare from the syllabus of 10+2 level and NCERTs. The syllabus of relevant subjects will be applicable according to the applied courses.

CUSAT CAT 2026 Admit Card 

CUSAT will issue the CUSAT CAT 2026 admit card in the last week of April 2026. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket via online mode. The admit card will be generated for those candidates who submit the application form before the last date.

Those candidates appearing in the CUSAT CAT exam must download the admit card immediately after its release. For the day of exam, applicants must keep the print of their admit card safe. 

Login details such as application number & date of birth will be required to download it from the website. It will comprise details such as allotted exam and time, exam centre address, roll number, exam name, etc. To appear for the test, candidates will have to carry the admit card along with a photo ID. 

CUSAT CAT 2026 Answer Key 

A few days after the exam, the CUSAT CAT 2026 answer key will be released by the authority. It will be published through online mode. The authority will first release the provisional answer key on the website. Candidates will be allowed to raise objections against the provisional answer key before the deadline. 

After considering all the valid objections received, the CUSAT CAT final answer key 2026 will be prepared. With the help of the answer key, candidates can calculate their expected marks in CUSAT CAT 2026 exam. 

CUSAT CAT 2026 Result 

CUSAT CAT 2026 result will be announced in June 2026. Candidates will have to visit the website to download the result through online mode. Result will be published in the form of a rank list. Candidates will be able to download the rank list in PDF format. Login credentials will be required to download the result/ rank list from the website.

CUSAT CAT 2026 Cut Off 

The CUSAT CAT 2026 cut off will be different for different streams. It will be released through online mode. Cut off marks for CUSAT CAT 2026 will be released as the closing ranks for admission to various courses. 

Cut off marks will be prepared based on several factors such as number seats, level of exam, number of candidates appearing & other details. It will be the minimum qualifying marks that candidates must obtain to be eligible for admission procedure. Candidates with better ranks in CUSAT CAT exam will be invited to participate in counselling sessions.
