ICFAI Institute of Science and Technology, Agartala was established in the year 2004. The university is not-for-profit educational society. The ICFAI University was established to impart training in management, science & technology, law and education to students, working executives and professionals in India.

The campus of the university is located at Agartala-Simna Road, Kamalghat, Sadar, West Tripura, Agartala, Tripura.

The institute provides all the major facilities to their students such as separate hostel for boys and girls, laboratory, computing facilities, health care, , central instrumentation lab, engineering workshop, e- journals, guest house, canteen, sports cell, xerox facility, well ventilated and spacious class rooms, wi-fi facility etc.
