The Indus University is previously known as the Indus Institute of Technology and Engineering. The Indus University is set up in the year of 2006. The University is managed by the Bhandari Charitable Trust. It is accepted by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University is dynamically included in rising teaching and study collaborations with worldwide establishments and Industries.
Campus
The University is located at the border of west Ahmedabad. The Campus of the university has best in class foundation with Wi-Fi facility. The Indus University has five Constituents Institutions which are Indus Institute of Technology & Engineering (IITE), Institute of Aviation Technology & Engineering (IATE), Institute of Design Environment & Architecture (IDEA), Indus Institute of Management Studies (IIMS) and Institute of Information & Communication Technology (IICT). There is a rich green garden with good surrounding which helps the student in their studies.

The Indus University has its own sunlight based power plant of 120 KW limits. The University provides bus transportation facility to the students and faculties. There is an auditorium (Fully air conditioned with modern Audio-Visual Facilities), Seminar Hall (accommodate 100+ students), Conference Rooms, Computer Labs and Canteen (Hygienic food).
