Institute of Dental Education and Advance Studies (IDEAS), Gwalior was established in the year 2006. The institution is administered by the trust “Madhya Pradesh Lok Vikas Nyas”. It is affiliated to the Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur and recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI).

Campus

Institute of Dental Education and Advance Studies (IDEAS) is located on National Highway no. 92, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The campus is spread over the area of 7.823 acres and is very near to the Deen Dayal Nagar, the residential colony of MP housing board. Malanpur Industrial Area is situated at a radius of 4 Km from the campus of the college. It has a distance of 4 kms from airport and 13 Kms from railway station.

Facilities

The college has state-of-the-art central library accommodating well-stocked text books, reference books, journals, magazines and daily newspapers. The lecture theatres of the college are equipped with audio-visual equipments and also have the facility of LCD projector. The campus is completely Wi-Fi enabled. The different departments of the college are well equipped with latest equipments and expert doctors. The hospital of the college provides medical treatment and health care facilities. The hostels have satisfactory capacity along with mess facility.

Programmes

Institute of Dental Education and Advance Studies (IDEAS), Gwalior offers fully residential BDS programme. For the completion of the course, the students have to qualify the 4 academic years with one year mandatory internship. The college provides 100 seats per year for admission in the BDS course.
