UGC NET Answer Key 2026
UGC NET 2026 Answer Key will be released via online mode for the June exam. The NTA will release the answer key for each paper separately.
The answer key contains all the correct answers to the questions asked in the papers. Final answer key will be published in the PDF format. The final answer key will be also released in July 2026 for June session exam.
How to Download UGC NET Answer Key
The answer key is downloaded by the candidates by following the steps below:
- Visit the official website of NTA (link will be provided above).
- A new page will open displaying the answer key of UGC NET 2026.
- Now, click on the respective answer key & download it.
- Check the answers given in the answer key.
- Take out the print out of the answer key for future reference.
Challenging Answer Key
Candidates will also able to make objections or challenge if in case they are not satisfied with the answers present in the answer key. For this, candidates must have to fill up an online application form given on the website.
To challenge the answer key/ OMR sheet, candidates have to submit a fee of Rs. 200/- per question. Candidates can make the fee payment through online mode by debit/ credit card or UPI.
The final decision regarding answer key will be made by the authority after the revaluation of the objections made by the candidates. The authority determine the changes to be made in the answer key and thereby also release the final answer key through online mode.

UGC NET 2026 Result
UGC NET 2026 Result for different papers and categories will be prepared on the basis of final answer key released. The result will be declared by the authority in July 2026.
Candidates will be able to check their results by entering their application number, and password. It contain details like name, category, roll number, total marks obtained, scores obtained in each paper, and qualifying status.
UGC NET Cut Off 2026
Candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks in UGC NET 2026 to be eligible for Assistant Professor Position and JRF. Cut off will be released in July 2026 for June session. The UGC NET 2026 cut off will be released through online mode.
The minimum qualifying UGC NET 2026 cut off is different for both the reserved and unreserved categories. The top 6% candidates are shortlisted for assistant professor position from the merit list. For JRF separate merit list will be prepared from the qualified candidates.
