Institute of Cooperative Management, Dehradun

The institution was established in the year 1965. It is affiliated to Utarakhand Technical University (UTU) and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute was formed in order to cater to the training and consultancy needs of the organizations.

Campus

The institution is located in Dehradun. It is situated just 20 km away from famous hill station Mussorrie. The institution can be easily accessible by any mode of transportation by rail, road and air.

Facilities

The institution provides all the necessary facilities to the students such as it has well adequate classrooms with modern teaching and training aids like overhead projector, LCD projector, and laptop , library which has a total collection of about 10,000 books covering different discipline and also subscribes to more then 50 Indian and foreign journals in the fields of management , a well equipped computer centre, seminar and conference hall which are equipped with modern communication system, wi-fi campus, separate hostel facilities for boys and girls and various other recreational facilities like cafeteria, and sports facilities for both indoor as well as outdoor game like lawn tennis, cricket, basketball, handball etc.

Programmes

The institution offers management programmne in the field of BBA and MBA. The MBA programme conducted by the institution is having duration of two years which is divided into four semesters with a compulsory summer internship project.

Placement

The institution has a training and placement cell which is managed by the placement officer. The placement officer provides placement assistance to the students. The following companies have come for the campus placement Allen Solly, Bicano Industries Ltd, Career Book, Medulla Soft and VDI projects etc.
