PSG College of Engineering is an autonomous, government-funded and private college institution which has been established in the year 1951 by PSG & Sons Charitable Trust. The college is affiliated to Anna University and approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. It is an ISO 9001:2000 certified institution.

Campus:

The campus is located on Avinashi Road at Peelamedu in district Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The campus is spread over in 45 acres of land on 8 km away from Coimbatore Railway Station and 5 km away from Coimbatore Airport.

Courses:

PSG College of Engineering is offering 24 UG programmes, 44 PG programmes and 3 M.Phill programmes in the field of engineering, technology and science. The college offers the MS & PhD programme in all disciplines. The college offers full-time & part-time courses by the convenient of the students. At present, the total strength of the students in all departments is around 8518 beside the research scholars. The campus has more than 750 faculty members excluding the visiting faculty.

Activities:

The college provides the counselling and insurance for the students. The college organizes the cultural activities, sports activities, literary activities, technical activities, alumni activities, industrial tour and visits through the students’ activities body.
