Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Patiala

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Patiala was founded in the year 2006 by Punjab Government. It is the public University that imparts legal education to the students. It is the centre of excellence in legal studies. The University has the affiliation from University Grants Commission (UGC).

Campus

The permanent campus of RGNUL has been constructed over 47.20 acres of land and located at near Village Sidhuwal, Bhadson Road that is only 12 kilometres from Patiala. The campus is well-networked by roads and surrounded by greeneries. The academic and administrative block are fully developed and equipped with all the general facilities.

Facilities

The University provides a lot of infrastructural facilities to its students. It is equipped with modern teaching facilities and also provides accommodation facility to both girls and boys. There are 4 hostels for boys and 4 hostels for girls. It has a spacious double story building guest house that houses kitchen, Mini Conference Hall & Waiting Area. Internet facility is available in fully air-conditioned computer laboratory. Other facility include dining hall, health centre, state-of-the-art fitness center, library, sport facilities, etc.

Programmes

The University offers residential full-time integrated, master and doctoral courses in the field of law. It offers full-time and part-time  Ph.D in Law and Social Science. The courses offered by RGNUL, Punjab is listed below:

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab has a dedicated placement that invites law Firms and companies for the recruitment purpose. Admission

Admission to B.A. LLB and LLM programme will be carried out through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). The University conducts its own entrance examination for providing admission to Ph.D courses. Entrance test will be conducted by the University every year on the first Sunday of the month May.
