Shivalik College of Pharmacy, Nangal
The Shivalik College of Pharmacy, Nangal is providing advanced technical education in the field of pharmacy to the rural youth of this area since 1983. The college is approved by the All India Council of India (AICTE) and also approved by the Govertment of Punjab and affiliated with Punjab Technical University (PTU). The college is being financed by Municipal Council Nangal and managed by Govt. of Punjab .It offered courses in various disciplines of the Pharmacy and applied sciences.
Campus
The campus of the institute situated in the town of Nangal on the banks of river Satluj. The college has well experienced and qualifies faculty members who are actively teaches the student and also connected with various researches in campus. The area of the campus is spread over 8 acres of the Nangal green land away from pollution. The Shivalik College also gives their complete focus on the placement and training for the students. Around 10, 000 students presently study in the Nangal campus.
Facilities
Every college wants to provide all facilities to their students in order give them complete technical knowledge by providing them with well equipped E-library, modern technical lab with all instruments, spacious workshops, Medical gardens, Animal house for different species, cafeteria, transportation facilities, sports, gymnasium, banking, LAN and WAN facility, computer labs with HI-speed net connectivity, Delnet, smart card facility, hostel for both boys and girls.

There are many courses which were offered by the Shivalik College. At present, it offers two courses in Shivalik College of Pharmacy, one at Undergraduate level and other at Postgraduate level. The two courses offered by the college are:

- M.Pharma
- Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Shivalik College of Pharmacy is also work on the above strategy. It invites the most reputed companies of pharmacy every year and tries to get placed the students in different companies according to individuals’ hard work or caliber. Companies who visit the campus for recruitment are Cipla, Ranbaxy, Ind-Swift, Torrent Pharmaceutics Ltd., and many other.
