The board will publish the result within one month of the conducting the exam. The board came into existence in the year 1951 under an Act of the State Legislature. The main headquarter of the board is situated in Nivedita Bhawan, Kolkata. Here, we have mentioned the complete information about West Bengal Higher Secondary Result 2025.

The above analysis shows that in the year 2015, the overall pass percentage increased by 4.18% as compared to 2014. However, in the year 2017, the overall passing percentage is increased by 3%. The boys outperformed the girls in terms of pass percentage during the same year.
The girls pass percentage is increased by 5.17% in 2015 but gone down by 1.38% in 2016. The boys passing percentage is increasing year and year. There is a decrement in the total no. of students appeared in 2015, but it increased by 1,27,204 in 2016.
In 2018, total 8, 04, 895 students has appeared in HS exam. The passing percentage of this year was 83.75%.
In 2020, The result was far impressive then previous statists. The overall passing percentages was reached to the 90.13% highest than last 5 years.
In 2021, The boys pass percentage is increased this year compared to girls. An overall 88.44% passed. The 86.90% girls passed and 90.19% boys passed.
In 2022, total 7,44,655 candidates appeared in West Bengal board 10th examination. 88.44 students passed the examination.
In 2023, total 8,24,891 students appeared in the WB HS board 2023 examination. Out of which 89.25% students have been passed the examination.
In 2024, total 7,55,324 candidates appeared in West Bengal HS Board 2024 examination. Out of which 89.9% students have been passed the exam.
