Step-1: Register Yourself & Verify Email
- Visit the official website of XAT 2027 (Link is given above).
- Click on the “Register” link.
- The application form will be opened on the screen.
Step-1.1: Fill Basic Info
- Candidates have to fill their basic information like their Name, State, Mobile No, and email address.
- After filling the basic information click on “Save & Next”. Now the candidate will get an User ID & Password in their registered mobile no.
Step-1.2: Verify Email ID
- Students carefully verify your Email ID and other filled details in the registration form.
- No change will be possible after clicking the Final Submit Button.
Step-2: Fill XAT 2027 Application Form
Now, the candidates have to fill out the XAT application form by entering their basic & personal details, communication address, educational details, etc. Check steps below:
Step-2.1: Fill Personal Details
Students are required to fill details like First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Email, Mobile Number, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Category, Kashimiri Migrant & Visually Handicapped status.
Step-2.2: Fill Contact Details
Enter Mailing Address (Address, City, Country, State/Province & Postal Code) and Permanent Address details.
Step-2.3: Qualification Details
Fill in 10th or equivalent exam details (School/College, Board/University, Year of Passing and Percentage), 12th or equivalent exam details (School/College, Board/University, Stream, Year of Passing and Percentage) and Bachelor’s details (Graduation Status, Institution, Board/University, Starting Year, Year of Passing, Stream and Percentage).
Step-2.4: Fill Other Details and Declaration
- Enter the work experience details like Organization Name, Designation, Start Date, End Date and Duration in months.
- Fill out the exam centres as per your choice.
- Read the declaration carefully tick on “I Agree” and submit it.
Step-3: Upload Scanned Images
Candidates are required to upload the scanned image of Photograph and Signature. The image size should be less than 1 MB. The image should be in JPEG format with the file name of Photograph and Signature should be Photo.jpeg and Sign.jpeg.
Step-3.1: Prepare Images:
Photograph Specifications:
- Image should be coloured with passport size photograph.
- The image must be taken against a light/white background.
- If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
- Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred).
- Size of file should be between 20 KB-50 KB.
Signature Specifications:
- Signature should be done in a white paper with black ink in small letters.
- The image resolution should be 200 dpi.
- Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred).
- Size of file should be between 20 KB -50 KB.
Step-3.2: Upload Images
- Go through the image upload option.
- Click on “Upload a file” and choose the scanned images.
- Now, upload the images of Photograph and Signature one by one.
Step-4: Fee Payment
Students can make fee payments using the following methods:
Online Payment: Candidates can pay the application fee using a VISA/Master Card, debit/credit card and IDBI net banking.
Step-5: Print Confirmation Page
After completing the application process, candidates are required to print the confirmation page. Candidates should preserve the confirmation page till the admission process.

XAT 2027 Registration
Students are able to register for XAT exam 2027 via online mode through the website. The XAT Registration 2027 has been started from 15th July 2026. Candidates are able to register for this till 6th December 2026. Candidates are suggested to take printout of the confirmation page and keep it safe for further use.
Registration Fee:
The XAT registration fee is Rs. 2300/– for those candidates interested in XAT only. If a candidate is interested in XLRI programmes they have to pay an extra fee of Rs. 200/– each. Those who want to apply for PGDM(GM) through GMAT/GRE have to pay Rs. 2600/– and the fee for NRI/Foreign applicants applying for one or more programmes through GMAT is Rs. 5000/-.
The fee payment can be done through using Debit Cards (Visa / Master Card / Maestro/RuPay), Credit Cards, IMPS, Internet Banking, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
