Centralized Admission Committee organizes the admission process known as CENTAC to offer admission into various UG Engineering and Medical programmes. Eligible candidates are selected and provided admission into various professional degree seats in the colleges located in the Union Territory of Puducherry. CENTAC 2024 Cut Off
CENTAC 2024 Cut off will be released for various programmes and various colleges separately by the authority. Candidates must check it through online mode from the website. To get admission into various programmes in various participating colleges of Puducherry, candidates will have to obtain marks above the minimum prescribed cut off marks.
On the basis of 10+2 level marks of the candidates, the cut off will be prescribed by the authority. Candidates have allotted ranks and will be shortlisted in the merit list as per the marks scored in 12th level.
Factors Determining CENTAC Cut Off
CENTAC 2024 Cut off will be determined by the authority based on various factors like:
- Total applying candidates.
- Total number of available seats.
- Previous year cut off trends.
- Number of seats available in the opted programme.
- Performance shown in 12th level exam etc.

CENTAC 2024 Merit List
The merit list will be published on the website for various courses. Candidates will be able to check merit list of all courses except for MBBS and BDS programme. By adopting the method of normalization board will be provided separate rank to the students.
The CENTAC merit list will be released in June 2024 for UG NON-NEET courses. It will be released separately for various categories, special categories and region wise. In case two or more candidates score same marks in the common merit list, inter-se-merit will be prepared in the priority order.

CENTAC 2024 Counselling
After the shortlisting the eligible candidates in the merit list, the CENTAC 2024 counselling process will be started. Candidates will be able to participate in the counselling round from July/ August 2024 through online mode. The counselling will be conducted in various rounds as per the availability of seats after each round of counselling.
To participate in the counselling process, candidates will have to first register through the website. Candidates must check the complete counselling process and schedule from the website. The counselling will be organised through online mode. Also, students have to pay the counselling fee of Rs.750 (For ST/SC – Rs.350) through DD drawn in favor of – The Convenor, CENTAC payable at Puducherry.
Also, during the counselling process, candidates have to carry their original as well as photocopies of their documents/certificates for the document verification process. Counselling will be started for NON-NEET bio based courses.
CENTAC 2024 Cut off marks will be prepared by the board after the commencement of entrance exam. Merit list will be prepared including the names of the selected candidates for the counselling process.
